Waiting Shapeless

Hi guys!!

Sorry for the short chapter... So I wrote you a little author's note to try to make up for it. 😬

This is the first author's note I have written for this version of Waiting Shapeless. At first I was a little unsure of adding author's notes because I was under the impression they were a little obnoxious for some readers. But I recently had a change of heart, so here we are. Although, that being said, there will probably not be too many of these notes in here. But that could change, let me know how you feel! If you want to hear more from me outside of the story, just give a quick "yes" comment to this chapter or something. 😊

So my friends! We are halfway through the book at this point. I'm excited because in my unbiased opinion, the story only gets better from here on out.

To be frank with you there have been a few times where I have felt unsure about this book. Just regular author insecurities. Is the story too obvious? Are the characters that I want you to love difficult to connect with? Are there plot holes that as the author I am blind to? And most importantly...

Who would most likely win in a fight? Hud or Captain Bryalnus?

Is that even part of the story? 😳 I can't tell you.

Anyway, I want you guys to know that I appreciate you. I know you've all heard this before, but seeing you guys read this and give it a little star or make funny little comments makes me want to put even more effort into my work.

@AegisXyston , @LeLettre7, @z4k4ri4, @shgakewebrinza, you guys have done a lot for for me with your comments and votes. 😊 Without your support, I don't think I would have kept going with everything. And to everyone else who is reading this, I can't tell who you are to thank you by name, but I really appreciate you as well. All of you are so amazing!!!! I literally do this for you!!!! Well, and because I like it. ☺️

Any questions so far? I'm considering throwing in a few illustrations of what all the main-ish characters look like for you guys. I mean, I do have another book, "Pentaverse Species Guide" which goes through all the universes and every individual species. It has pictures of all the different aliens of course but I haven't gotten through all the universes yet so there are a lot of aliens that I haven't finished.

Let me know what you think about that idea as well as with the more author notes/less author notes idea as well. I would just have another author's note and it would list all the main/side characters with a simple drawing of what they look like. Yes? No?

As I mentioned at the beginning of the book, this story is completed, every part has been written and is just itching to be published. So far I think I've done a fairly decent job of being consistent with posting, but I hereby renew my vow to publish at least one new chapter every Sunday and Wednesday morning ✊ (depending on where you are in the USA).

I really hope all of you are safe and healthy. 😥 These are strange and inconvenient times. I know I am not the only one who has had their life tossed upside down because of what is happening. Let's help starve out the virus with social distancing and lots of hand washing. Don't feel ashamed to wear a face mask when you go out too! It won't make you look weird, it will make you look serious about your health. 😬
