45. Baby's First Smile

Sophie smiled at me for the first time earlier. Shawn is in the studio but he'll be home soon. We know how much he wants to see his little girl smile. I did send a video to him of Sophie smiling but I really want him to see her smile in person. He will be home soon and hopefully Sophie will smile for her daddy tonight. Can't wait to see Shawn's reaction when she does. I am sat on the couch with Sophie. She is awake now. She woke up from a sleep not so long ago. "Soph, are you going to smile for your daddy. He would really love to see you smile, baby girl" I say. Sophie looks at me. Just under an hour later, Shawn arrives home from the studio with a smile on his face. "Hey, girls. I'm home" he said. "Hey, Shawnie. We missed you today" I say. "Well I missed you too. Both of you. My beautiful girls" he said. I smile and Shawn sits on the couch next to me. "Hey, Soph. Daddy's home" he said. I pass Sophie to Shawn to hold. "A little birdy told me that you smiled for the first time today. Will you do it for daddy now" he said. "I told her to smile for you" I reply. A little later, Sophie smiled at Shawn for the first time. "Yesss. You did it. That's my beautiful girl. Daddy loves you, Sophie" he smile. Awwww so beautiful. Sophie just smiled at Shawn for the first time tonight. See she listened to me

Harvey 💙

Aiden is now two months old and he gets more and more adorable everyday. Me and Harvey are such proud parents. We've been blessed with an amazing little boy. Aiden is almost smiling. He's focusing on his and nearly gave us his first smile. Aawww we can't wait till he smiles at us for the first time. We will be getting Aiden ready for bed soon. He's getting tired and so are me and Harvey too. We are sat on the couch and Harvey holding our little boy. "Come on, Aiden. Are you gonna smile for daddy, boy?" he said. "He will soon, Harv. Don't worry" I say. He smiles and touches my hand. Soon we go and get Aiden ready. Harvey wanted to do it today so I let him. As he was getting Aiden ready in his room, I go into our room to make sure everything is ready for Aiden to go to bed. "Y/ N, come here" Harvey said a few minutes later. "What is it?" I reply. "Look. I'm not even joking, babe but Aiden just smiled at me" he said. "Did he? Really?" I reply. "He did. Come and see if you don't believe me. He's still doing it" he said. "Okay just a moment" I reply. I go into Aiden's room and see that he's smiling. "Yay! Well done, beautiful boy" I say. "That's my son. Daddy knew you would smile, Aiden" Harvey said. He kisses him. Awwww so cute. Aiden just smiled for the first time before we put him to bed. How amazing?

His POV

The babies are 10 weeks old now and they are doing amazingly well. Me and Y/ N love them all to bits. Our three little leprechauns. Cian, Cillian and Cora. Cillian smiled us for the first time the other day. Cora is close to smiling at us but Cian isn't there yet. We are trying to get him to though. We are also going out more with the triplets too. It's good for them to be out and also me and Y/ N too. We are going out for a little walk around the neighbourhood now with the little ones. It's a nice day and we need a little bit of fresh air. The babies are all ready and raring to go out on the walk this afternoon. "Let's get them out" I say to Y/ N said. "Yep" she says agreeing with me. I push the triplet stroller out of the door. It only just fits luckily enough. We have quite a wide front door. It's pretty big and annoying to manoeuvre is the stroller. We walk around the neighbourhood as a family. Y/ N sticks by us by holding onto the stroller. "I love family walks with my favourite people in the world" I say. "Yep I do too, Ni. It's one of my favourite things to do as a family" Y/ N replies. We breathe in the fresh as we walk together. We kept on looking at the babies to see if they are okay. I look down and Cora is smiling at me. "Love, our little smile is smiling at me" I say. "Ah she is. Our beautiful little girl" Y/ N smiles. "Awwww, Cora" I say. We had a great family walk today and our beautiful little girl Cora smiled at us for the first time just like Cillian. Now we just need Cian to do the same
