7. Telling His Family

We've already told Shawn's family that we are having a baby and they are so so happy for us and we are too. Shawn's family helped me tell him that I was pregnant by throwing a little celebration to tell him. It was so pregnant. It's a moment we'll never forget. Shawn and I FaceTime his family once a week when we have time. We always make time for talking to Shawn's family and my own too. We are about to call them now and catch up with. Shawn goes on FaceTime on his iPad and starts calling his mom and dad. "Hey, mom. Hey, dad" he said. "Hey, sweetie. How are you both?" Karen said. "We are doing great, mom" Shawn said. "How are you feeling, Y/ N?" she asks. "I'm feeling fine. Sometimes morning sickness hits me every once in a while" I reply. "Where's Aaliyah?" Shawn asks. "She's coming" Manny said. Aaliyah comes in a few minutes later. "Hey, guys" she said. "Hey, sis" Shawn said. "Hey, Aaliyah" I reply. "Are you guys ready for your first scan soon?" Karen asks. "Yes we are. Can't wait to see our little one for the first time" I reply. "Can't wait, babe. I'm so excited" Shawn said. We finish talking to his family and have a great time doing so. We love catching up with them

His POV

Me and Y/ N are going to tell my family that we are having a baby. We can't wait to but we probably think they will be surprised. Anyway we can't wait to tell them that we are pregnant. Me and Y/ N are on our way to my parents house now to see my parents and brothers there. "Can't wait fo tell them, babe. I think they will be happy. Well I hope they will be" I say. "Of course they will be, Harv" she replies. When we arrive at my parents we park up outside and knock on the door. My mum answers with a smile on her face. "Hey, mum" I say. "Hey, Harv" she said hugging me. We say hi to my dad and brothers and go and sit down. We keep the conversation general to begin with before announcing our news. "Guys, me and Y/ N have something important we want to tell you" I say. "Yeah we do" she said. "Well we found out something really exciting and amazing recently. Y/ N is pregnant" I say. "What really that's amazing news?" Mum said. "Really?" Elliot says. "Yes we are having a baby" I say. "That's great news, son" dad said. "Yeah it's pretty good" Ollie said. "It's something we've been talking about for a while now and we think it's the right thing and we can't wait to have a kid" I say. So it went tell telling my family and I think they are happy to hear our news

Niall and I have decided to make a surprise and unexpected trip back to Ireland to see our families and tell them our special news. They have no idea we are coming from LA to see them for a week. First we are going to Niall's family home and then my family after. We have just left the airport and are heading to Niall's mums house. We haven't even told anyone that we went through IVF. We didn't want to just in case it wasn't successful. "So exciting that we are telling our families that we are having a baby" he said. "Yes it is. Can't wait to tell them now" I reply. Soon we arrive at Niall's mums house and get dropped off outside and get our stuff out. We then knock on the door and Maura answers the door. "Niall, Y/ N what are you two doing here" she said. "Mum, we've come to surprise you" Niall said. "That's awesome. You two shouldn't have come all this way" she said. "Of course we should've, mum" Niall said. We come in and get settled in and Maura gets us drinks and snacks. "Awww I'm so glad to see the both of you" she said. "We've so glad to be here, mum" Niall said. "Yes we are because we have something we would like to tell you" I say. "Ohhhh really. What is it?" Maura said. Niall looks at me and we both say in unison "We are having a baby". Maura's face lights up. "Oh my gosh. Really. I'm so happy for you. Another grandchild. That's so amazing" she said. "Well me and Y/ N couldn't be any happier. We are so happy and excited for this next chapter in our lives" Niall smiles. "We are indeed" I say. So Maura was so happy that we told her our news. The day after we told Niall's dad and brother and then my family after that. The whole family is so happy for the new arrivals
