24. Getting Ready For Baby

Shawn 💖

I am 3 weeks off my due date so our baby will be here our soon. Sophie or Jackson and me and Shawn can't wait to meet him or her. So exciting. Shawn has finished in the studio for a long while now so he is gonna be with me and the baby for a while which is amazing. He's the best and has always been there for me no matter what. Can't wait till we are parents. Shawn and I have been busy today getting things ready for the baby in the nursery. We have the hospital bag packed and everything ready for when I go into labor in case it happens early but I'm not intending for it. Hope the baby stays in there till my due date. Can't wait to meet our little boy or girl though. Shawn and I are relaxing after a long day getting ready for the baby. "Honey, I can tell you're exhausted. I told you not to do too much today it you don't listen to me" Shawn said. "Yeah I know but I'll be okay after a good nights sleep" I say. "Yeah you will be. I know you, Y/ N" he smiles. "Yeah you do. It was fun getting ready for the baby today" I say. "It was. Only a few more weeks to go" he smiles. So Shawn and I are nearly ready for when the baby comes. We don't know how long that will be but hopefully it won't be too long

Harvey 💙

Just a few weeks till me and Harvey will be parents to our son Aiden. We can't wait to meet him when he arrives. Im over 36 weeks now so just over a month. Not only to go now till our lives will change forever but in the most amazing way of course. Can't wait to be parents to Aiden when he comes into the world. I finish work uni next week which is great. I've sent Harvey out to the supermarket to get a few baby things like I think we need more nappies and wipes as we haven't got enough if Aiden decides to come early. I think I trust him to cone back with the right things. Sometimes he doesn't and I get mad with him haha. He text me to say he's on his way home. Soon the door opens and Harvey walks in carrying two boxes of nappies in his arms. "I'm home" he said almost dropping the boxes. "Hey, you" I say. "Hey, beautiful" he said. "So let's see if you've come back with the right things" I say. "Of course I have" Harvey replies. "Well I'll see for myself" I say. "Two boxes of nappies. There's two more in the car" he said. He goes and gets the others. "Errrrr Harvey I specifically told you newborn. Those are for older babies. Aiden won't be needing them for a while" I say. "Sorry. He might be a big baby for as far as we know" he said. "Yeah maybe not" I say. "I can take them back tomorrow" he said. "No it's fine. They will cone in useful for later" I say. "I have wipes, bottles, dummies, bathing lotion" Harvey said. "Good at least I can trust you with done things" I say. It's not a big deal that he got the wrong diapers. I feel bad for getting mad at him. Harvey always tries his best

Niall 💚

Niall and I have been pretty busy recently getting ready for the triplets. In the next week and a half, two weeks they could be here so really not long now. We will be a family of five before we know it. We have three times the things to remember with hazing three babies. It's crazy but a good crazy of course. We are in the nursery now making sure we have everything ready for the babies. My hospital bag is really big as we have outfits for the babies when they come home and everything. The boys will be wearing matching outfits and Cora will be wearing one that's similar. "Babe, sit down. You're getting tired. You've done enough. Let me carry on" Niall said. "No I'm fine, Ni. I want to. This is fun" I say. "Okay, baby. I can't make you stop if you don't want to" he said. Anyway we carry on getting things ready in the nursery. "We have all their outfits organised in the closet. A section for Cian, a section for Cillian and a section for Cora. Amazing" Niall said. "Yeah I know. They all have their own little sections" I reply. "They do and they are perfect" he said putting his arms around me and kissing my neck. Ruel 💜

Ruel's parents have been helping him and I get ready for baby George. I'm less than a month from my due date so not long till he'll be here. Can't wait to meet our little boy. We are only young but we think we are ready to be parents now. We have support from friends and family. My family have come round now and will support us. My mum said she would never forgive herself if she never got to see her grandchild. Anyway Ruel's parents are helping us get a few more things ready today for the baby. "Y/ N, have you got everything in your hospital bag you need?" Kate asks. "Yeah I think I have" I reply. "I'll go through it with you if you want" she said. "Sure" I reply. Kate goes through the list and see if I've got everything. She's really like a second mum to me. "You're going to be breastfeeding. Right?" she asks. "Yeah I think. If it works but I don't really like the idea at first" I say. "Don't worry. You can at least try" Kate smiles. "Yeah" I reply. She gives me some breast pads to put in my bag. I did get some. She checks the other things and I remembered everything else. "I still can't get over how cute that koala onesie is" Ralph said. "I know, dad. I choose it for my boy" Ruel replies. "George is going to look adorable when he comes home from the hospital in that" Kate said. Me and Ruel both smile. It was fun getting more things ready for baby George today

Khalid ❤️

Khalid and I are going out to do a bit of last minute shopping for baby Serenity. We realise that there is a few essential thing that we still need to get or haven't got enough of. In a few weeks time our baby girl will be there but we want to be more than ready for her. We are heading out to Target now. It's our favourite place to go for baby things. "Here we are. Let's go and get some more things for our baby girl" Khalid said. "Yep definitely" I smile. He grabs a cart and we head in. "I don't think we are intending on buying a lot of things, Khalid" I say. "Yeah well we've got it in case we see a lot of things. I guess" he replies. We head to the baby section and start looking round. "We need more newborn diapers. Quite a lot more" I say. "Sure" he said grabbing boxes of diapers from the shelves. Khalid puts several in the cart. "That's it. We could do with some more wipes. We are gonna be needing a lot of those" I say. We grab two boxes of wipes from the shelves. Next we move onto the smaller things. "I'll grab some more bottles and formula just in case I decide to bottle feed as well" I say. "Okay, babe. Do we need anything else after that?" Khalid asks. "Not that I can think of" I say. We looked around again and saw. I saw a changing mat for the diaper bag which was cute so I got that. We went to the checkout to pay. We did need that cart after all. We are just about ready for baby Serenity's arrival now

Eric 🧡

The twins could come soon in the next few weeks. I'm 34 weeks now so they could find in the next three or four weeks as they usually bring twins early. Me and Eric and have been super busy getting things ready for them. In fact we are getting things ready in the nursery for Milo and Felix this afternoon. We are getting their clothes sorted and everything like that. A lot of the clothes that we bought or got given are matching outfits for the boys and they are so cute. "Jagiya, I can't believe how incredibly cute all these outfits are" Eric said. "I know, E. They are. So adorable and most of them are matching too" I reply. "They are. You know we should put them in matching outfits when they leave the hospital" he said. "Yeah that would be so cute. I was actually thinking that too" I reply. "Well let's get them cute matching outfits out" Eric said. "Sure thing" I reply. So we choose out two matching onesies with pants, socks with matching jackets and hats. It's summer so we don't want them to be wrapped up too much but they still need to be cozy. We put the outfits in the bag for the hospital. "They will look so cute in those outfits" Eric said. "They will indeed" I reply. So we carry on sorting things out in the nursery for the twins. It was fun. Just can't wait till they are here now

Hunter 💛

We have been busy getting ready for the arrival of our baby girl Hailey. She is due in three weeks but there is a chance that she could come early. I was four days overdue with Ezra but Hailey could come early as she's my second baby. Hunter and I are in Hailey's room making sure everything is ready for her. Ezra runs in and exclaims "Daddy, can you play pirates with me". "Not right now, little man. Soon. I'm just helping mommy get ready for your baby sister" Hunter replies. "Okay" Ezra said looking sad. "Hunter, you go and play with him. I'll be five doing this on my own" I say. "No, honey. It's fine. I like helping you. I'll play with Ezra later" Hunter said. "I'm fine. I'll stop when I get tired" I say. "Okay, babe. I'll be just in his room if you need anything" he said. "Okay I know where you are" I say. Hunter goes into Ezra's room to play with him while I carry on sorting things out in the baby's room. I am folding her onesies and putting them away in the drawer where her things go. I was fine on my own. I love my boys hanging out together. They might as well make the most of it while we can

Charlie 🤎

Both Y/ N have been busy getting ready for our baby boy Jacob. He could be here in the next month or so and we just can't wait to be parents to him. We are so excited to meet our little guy. Not long now. We have all his clothes in his closet and drawers in his room. This year has been incredible for Y/ N and I as we got married and we are now about to be parents anytime. "I can't believe he's nearly here" I say to Y/ N as we are in bed. "I know, Char. Not long till our beautiful baby boy is here" Y/ N said. "Yeah I know. Jacob Charles Puth will be here soon" I say kissing her head. She smiles at me and touches her bump. I touch it too. "Hey, son. It's your dad" I say to Jacob. "Awwww, Charlie. You're going to be the best dad in the world to our little boy" she said. "Oh I love you, Y/ N. That's why I married you" I say. "I love you too, Charlie. That's why I married you too" Y/ N said. I lean in and kiss her on the lips. We can't wait till our little guy is here
