"How the hell could I be pregnant?" Rebecca paced the bathroom "we've been careful, I'm on the pill.. I can't be pregnant"
"I have no idea what's going on.. did we have the same dream?" Colby asked
"I don't fucking know Colby, I'm freaking out" she said and he placed his hands on her shoulders to keep her still
"Calm down.. I'm sure everything is fine" he nodded "I'll go pick up a test, you stay here and try to calm down" he said and placed a quick kiss to her lips before leaving
After making sure Colby had left, she leaned against the wall and slowly slid down to the floor. She wasn't ready to be pregnant again, she didn't want to be pregnant again. The fear of loss still trickled in the back of her mind.. what if she were pregnant again and she lost it? She didn't think she would be able to cope with that.
As Colby drove to the nearest convenient store.. everything you could think of was running through his mind. They had only been together a little over a month.. it was so soon. The fear of loss in the back of his mind.. what if she was pregnant and he lost her? Or the baby? He didn't think he could cope with a loss like that again.
"No!" Rebecca heard a scream coming from the room down the hall and she immediately ran in
Olive was curled up in a ball in the corner of her bed in tears. She was gripped on tight to her stuffed bear she'd had forever.
"Hey, hey" Rebecca said and rushed to her side "I'm here.." she said and held onto the little girl tightly
"You left.." she cried "you left me.."
"Baby I didn't leave I'm right here" Rebecca kissed her head "I'm not ever leaving"
"Don't leave me mommy" the little girl practically pleaded and Rebecca moved her onto her lap, she began to wipe the tears away and lifted her little face so they were eye to eye
"Olive, I'm right here.. I'm not going anywhere"
