"I don't even understand why you act like that you really need to chill out" he said pointing his finger in my face
"Devin you gotta go" I said pointing towards the door I rolled my eyes as he walked out he slammed the door just then my big cuzin came out the kitchen
"Girl that nigga something else I don't know why you still fuck with him" she said grabbing my arm as we both went and sat on the couch
"I don't know either I just love him April " I said putting my head down "he's not always like this " I said tryna defend his stupidity
"If you say so" she said changing the channel on the tv "I love you juju I'm your big cuzin and I only want what's best for you " she said looking at me

We just chilled and started to watch movies it was a Saturday night and I had absolutely nothing planned. As I was watching tv my phone rang it was a text from jacquees he was a cool guy from school that I had all my classes with. He was one of the first people I met when I first transferred here to Atlanta from Texas Austin, Texas that is.

[JujuBee] : Nothing chilling at the house wassup with you lil daddy?
[Queedy] : Lol lil daddy huh but nothing just chilling with E and the boys you ain't doing nothing tonight?
[JujuBee] : Naw me and devin got into it so I think imma just stay in
[Queedy] : I don't know why you still with him anyway you don't have to be there well I guess I'll talk to you later
[JujuBee] : Later
I went to go make me something to eat. After I ate I went upstairs and laid in bed. I mean que and april were right I shouldn't be with him but I love him and they just don't know him like I do. I got up to change my clothes and then my phone rang it was a text from devin.
[LoveBug] : I'm so sorry baby I know I overreacted and I should have never talk to you like that please forgive me I love you juju
I didn't text back I just looked at the message and sat my phone on the nightstand and went to sleep.

I never understood what she seen in that nigga from the get go. I remember when Juliana first came here from texas she was really shy and didn't really talk to nobody besides Giovanni and Brionna then I found out I had every single class with her so I had to introduce myself she was just so beautiful
Flashback.
I was on my way to Ms. Jackson English class when I seen my cuzin issa and my boys Chris and Shawn.

"Aye I heard we got another new girl at the school " issa said as we stood at his locker

"I'll see y'all later I gotta get to class before ms j start tripping " I said as I dapped them up and headed to class
I walked into class and sat in my seat and just talked with everybody until Ms.Jackson walked in
"Okay, Okay Quiet Down" she said putting her stuff down on the desk "today we are reading why the caged bird sings by maya angelou all of you have to read it and then right your own version of the poem" as ms j was talking this very beautiful girl walked into the class she was lightskin with shoulder length light brown hair that matched her pretty eyes a nice ass body and her swag was so dope.
"Class this is Juliana James she just transferred here from texas and I want you all to help her if she needs it and make her feel welcomed somebody also tell her what the assignment is you can take a seat ms james welcome " ms j said smiling at her
She came and sat right behind me I just looked at her as she got her stuff out her bookbag. When she looked up she noticed I was looking at her
"Umm hello can I help you with something " she said looking at me
"Yeah you can start by telling me your name beautiful " I said smiling at her
"I'm pretty sure you just heard the teacher introduce me " she said looking down at her notebook
"So this how you gon be beautiful I just wanted to know if I could get your number and maybe we hang out sometime " I said smiling at her grabbing her hand
"I'm good but thank you " she said looking away from me asking for the assignment
I just watched her before I started to do my work it turns out I had every single class with her I was more than happy it was just something about this girl I had to figure out who she was.

I was feeling juju from the first day I met her I could tell she was something special but then she start talking to that nigga devin and I know her man ain't better than me. Imma make Juliana mine one day I promise that.

Well I'm Juliana, Juliana Monroe James I'm 18 years old from Austin Texas. I never knew my daddy he's been locked up all my life and my mom she's a drug addict and a prostitute she gave me up when I was 3 years old and my grandma was taking care of me until I turned 12 she died on my birthday it was the hardest day of my life. They were going to send me into foster care until my cuzin april took me in and I've been living with her ever since.
When I first moved here from texas I didn't really open up and talk to nobody until like the 4th week of school. Jacquees talked to me and flirted with me everyday until he found out I started talking to devin he didn't like that all. My two best friends gigi and bri been rocking with me ever since ninth grade and I love they crazy asses.
I wouldn't say I had a hard life but it surely wasn't easy. Being moved around from place to place being on the street at only 3 years old with my momma before she finally gave me up being sold for drugs it was crazy out there. I think I have brothers and sisters but I'm not even sure and probably will never know. I'm just thankful for april and everything she's done for me I would be nothing without her. April is almost 26 she's also lightskin with blonde and brown hair she wears glasses and she has amazing style and a bad ass body.
