[ Taeyong POV ]

Jaehyun was currently dressing himself up. He was putting a lot of effort into it. He normally doesn't do that.

" Where are you going? ", I ask. He turns around and gives me a wide smile.

' The cafe ', he says and grabs his keys.

" Why are you dressed like that then? ", I question and he hesitates before saying ' I'm meeting someone '.

" Who? "

' Doyoung '

" Isn't he in Japan for a college thing? ", I ask and I see the nervousness in his eyes.

' He leaves tomorrow ', he says.

He's lying. I know it.

" Oh ok then ", I say and fall back on the bed.

' Do you want anything? ', he asks.

" What? "

' From the cafe. Do you want me to buy you anything? '

" I'm good, thanks ", I say and take out my phone.

He comes closer to me and gives me a peck on the lips, as he ruffles my hair. ' I love you baby. See you later '

" I love you too. Come soon ", I say as he flashes me one of his signature smiles and leaves the apartment.

I want to trust Jaehyun but I know something is off.

So I do the only logical thing.

I text Doyoung.

A few hours later, Jaehyun returns home. There's an unusual smile on his face as he comes and lays beside me on our bed.

I turn around to face him and I ask " How's Doyoung? ", and Jaehyun says ' He's fine '.

I can't believe he's still lying to me.

" I know you're lying Jae " I say and his smile fades " I know that you didn't go to meet Doyoung. Who did you meet and why don't you want me to know? ".

He sighs, as I'm assuming and sits up straight. So do I.

' I'll tell you, but don't be mad ', he says and I nod.

" You're not leaving me are you? ", I say and his face softens ' Of course not baby. You're my one and only '.

" Then tell me, who did you meet? "

' You know I actually thought you would follow me because you were suspicious '

" I would've, but I texted Doyoung and Taeil hyung instead. Coming back to the topic, what are you hiding from me! "

' I met your twin brother '.

" Ok. Wait what- "

' I met Taemin. I didn't want you to know because I thought you would be mad '

" Are you crazy?! What if he tells my father? ", I scream.

' He promised me he wouldn't. You don't know how happy he was when he found out that you were still alive! '

" Does he know about ... us? How did he believe you just like that? "

' I told him you were my boyfriend and when he didn't believe me, I showed him a picture of us. Taemin and you look exactly alike, it quite surprised me at how I could not see physical difference between you both. Although obviously, you are skinnier '

" What did he say? "

' He wanted to meet you '

" He did? "

' Yeah. Do you want to meet him? He really missed you, you know? '

" I'll meet him ".
