After the proposal from my hubby, we had some kind of pack feast. It was strange, finally we were all together outside, the cool air buzzing with life.

Many members danced around the fire, or should I say fires. There were so many of us, and there were nice chunky pieces of pork and beef cooking on each fire.

Life filled the air, everyone talking and laughing, just having a good time. As they proclaimed, it was an event to celebrate for.

I honestly didn't understand why they took marriage so far, I mean after all, we were already mated and all. I didn't know what a ring on a finger was going to change.

"What's going through that bizarre mind of yours?" Will whispered against my ear, tickling the invisible hairs. The heat caused my skin to cover in goosebumps.

The back of my head leaned against his chest, his arms wrapped around me.

I sign-laughed, just indicating the pack in general.

"I didn't know they would take our marriage so far. I don't exactly understand. I don't need a piece of paper or a ring to tell me that I love you," I fumbled, getting more frustrated.

His deep chuckling rumbled the back of my chest, like a vibrating chair.

You know what else vibrates? *wink wink*, Brain suggested.

May I just say that you are a complete and utter pedophile, Brain.

He kissed my cheek, his thumbs rubbing circles on my stomach.

"I don't need any of this to tell me that I love you," he started laughing again, "But I think the pack just needed a reason to drink and eat."

He made some sense there.

I turned around in his lap, staring at his face and raised my eyebrow.

"Maybe you're a bad alpha, then. Letting your pack go crazy."

I think he actually took me seriously, "Eva. I could care less what they were doing, I don't control them. They choose to be here. I wouldn't force them to do this. They have just as much freedom as anyone else, but we are a team, a pack."

I genuinely smiled, giving him a light kiss on his lips. I added, "And most importantly, a family."

He smiled back, hugging me to his chest, "Spoken like a true alpha, my love. As long as I have you, I don't need anything else."

I felt touched, his words making these baby dragons fly around in my tummy, causing havoc.

"Well, you still need air, and water, and food. Oh! And shelter!" I started listing off on my fingers.

He grabbed my chin, meeting his crystal blue eyes with mine.

"You are the air I breathe. The high other people crave. You are the water I drink. The only thing that quenches my thirst. You are the only nutrition I need. Your presence makes my heart fill with enough emotion that I don't need food.  And you are the only shelter I need," he told me, completely serious.

Wow. That was deep.

And hot.

So hot.

I honestly didn't know how he could randomly say such things.
