I clung to him resisting the urge to bawl mightily again.

"Why? Why is it you think we won't be seeing each other anymore?" He asked softly in my ear making me shiver.

I flung my head back to look at him desperately. "You'll be going away to study. You won't be attending school with me anymore. I'll never see you," I blurted out my grief.

I was clutched close snd almost suffocated burried against his chest as I was. He shook. There was no other way to put it. He racked with spasms.

"Billy?" I snuck my head out from under his arms to peer up at him.

His smile was wide transforming his face. I watched him fight of his hilarity for a bit before he finally sobered enough to speak.

"You love me," he said happily.

I grinned up at him feeling ridiculously happy simply because he was happy. That was when I realised he was right.

I really do love him.
