Forgotten Descendants

Chapter 17

Emma walking into the High School with so much anger, "Stefan!' she screamed. 

In only a second, Stefan appeared right in front of her, "Are you okay? What's wrong?" He asked concerned.

"What's wrong, is that my Grandpa used some of my DNA without my consent. Now, I would say that this supposed Grandpa is an asshole, because any normal Grandparent would ask their grandchild if that was okay. But, No!!!!" Emma began, "You just had to take it, without letting me know. If you asked, I would have said yeah, but you lied. You picked me up this morning just to get me to drink that coffee!"

"How did you figure out?" Stefan asked with a somber facial expression.

"Really, that's all you are going to say? A doctor called me. You know, if you want to sneak around, maybe you should have checked to make sure that my phone number wasn't in the medical records," Emma yelled. She was absolutely furious. She was so happy to finally have a family member with her that she could trust, but he just had to break that.

"Oh," Stefan said, and Emma just shook her head.

"You don't know what I have been through! and how many times men have misused my trust. I have been hurt more than you could ever know, and now you are just added to that list," Emma said with a scowl and walked away.

"Emma, I'm sorry. I just needed to know! I have never been good at the family thing. It's just so new! I didn't just pick you up for the coffee, but also to make sure you're safe," Stefan yelled after her. Emma turned around.

"Well, I am. And now you don't have a family," Emma said and ran out of the building, leaving Stefan behind.

When Emma emerged from the high school, she went to go look for Caroline. She needed her. Emma was on the brink of tears, and without Mads, Caroline was the next best. She found Tiki.

"Do you know where Caroline is?" Emma asked, trying to hold back the tears.

"I saw her walk into the woods a little bit ago. It was weird. I tried to talk to her, but she just ignored me and kept walking," Tiki said. Emma's heart dropped. She knew that it happened in the TV show, but because of Damon. Damon wasn't here though. Emma didn't even say goodbye to Tiki before she ran into the woods. It didn't take her long until she found Caroline being held by the throat by another tomb vampire. Damn them tomb vampires!

"Hello there my love!" the Vampire said. Emma knew he was possessed, because his eyes were a bright red.

"Let her go! It's me who you want!" Emma yelled at him.

"You did so good last night. I was a little upset you didn't kill Stefan. He is a nuisance for sure. But a kill is a kill nonetheless. It darkened your heart. That's all I need," he said increasing his hold on Caroline.

"Okay, I already killed them. It's done. You don't need Caroline," Emma said pleading.

"Oh, darling that was just the beginning. I need your heart completely dark," he said.

"Why?" Emma yelled at him.

"Because when you do, and we fall in love. Our rule will be unstoppable. We will have complete control over everything! It will be glorious!" he said.

"I am not going to kill anyone else," Emma said confident.

"Well, you see you don't have a choice. You are going to kill your little blonde friend here," he said.

"Are you crazy, I am not going to kill her!" Emma responded.

"You don't have a choice. You see, I put some vampire blood in her pocket. If you kill her, she will come back. If you don't, I will kill her and I won't give her the vampire blood before," he said.
