Your eyes slowly fluttered open as you groaned. Your head was pounding and your vision was extremely blurry.

"Hey, hey. Take it easy, y/n."

That voice wasn't quite familiar to you.

Once your vision cleared up, you tried to sit up but you didn't have enough energy to do so. Instead, you lifted your head and looked around.

You saw Hat Kid, Snatcher, Kiri, and another person. They had dark skin and a now wrapped around their head. They looked adorable.

"Who are you?" You groaned as you pointed to the girl, then sweet a hand on your head.

"I'm Bow Kid! You can just call me Bow, if you'd like." She smiled, waving at you.

You gave a weak smile before resting back on the pillow that was under your head. You glanced to Snatcher and waved, then made a heart with your hands.

You smiled as you noticed a small blush on his face.

"How are you feeling?" Hat Kid walked over to you and sat down near you.

"Better." You smiled, turning to her. "Are we in your ship?"

"Yeah. Snatch brought you here after you passed out." She nodded, setting the back of her hand on your forehead, taking your temperature. "He really likes you, y/n. I haven't seen him grow to like someone like he likes you."

"Yeah, yeah." Your face flushed as you looked away from her, rolling your eyes. "He was a hard shell to crack."

"Oh, someone really wants to see you." She smiled before moving out of the way, revealing a seemingly sad Kiri.

"C'mere." You sat up, opening your arms to the small dweller with a weak smile. He flew into your arms, and you embraced him, snuggling him gently.

"Don't be sad, okay?" You spoke softly as you nuzzled the creature. "I'm alright."

Kiri nodded before moving away from you as Snatcher moved over to you.

You smiled as you held your hands out to him. He gently took it in his claw and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"How are you feeling?" He asked as he pulled you into his lap. He then gently ran his fingers through your hair.

"I'm alright." You smiled as you leaned into him, snuggling his fur. "How about you?"

"I was really worried." He said softly as his face turned a bit purple. "You just passed out while you were walking towards me."

You couldn't help but giggle as you nodded. "Yeah, I'm sorry about that."

"It's fine." He shrugged it off. "I'm just glad you're okay now. If you need anything, let me know."

"A kiss?" You asked as you looked up at him. You have him your cutest look as a way to try and convince him.

He huffed as he rolled his eyes, then saw that Hat Kid had a camera ready. He groaned again before getting yanked down.

Your lips were firmly pressed together with Snatcher's as a grin grew across your face. You held the kiss with him before you needed a breath.

You broke the kiss, taking a deep breath to remain your breath. As Snatcher did the same, you gently booped the place where his nose would be.

He couldn't help but smile at your action, then he placed a gentle kiss on your forehead.

——

After a day or two of resting in a Hat Kids ship, you, Snatcher and Kiri headed back to Subcon. You rested for a while, slowly regaining strength.

You sighed as the night washed over the forest, watching as the moon lit up and the stars shown.

You smiled as you went over to Snatcher with a yawn, smiling as he took you into his lap. Kiri flew over to you almost immediately, and you embraced him tight as you began to doze off.

Life was perfect.

You were happy.

This was all you wanted in life. To find love and be happy.

Kiri and Snatcher were more than enough for you. You were so grateful to have them around.

They both cared and loved you.

This was family.

"I love you, Snatch."

"I love you too, y/n."

This is your family.
