You immediately fell to your knees, your breaths short and your heart racing. Never in your life had you seen so much blood.

In front of you was a small, discreet room. There were cuffs on the walls, knives on a table, and the floor was icy.

And everything was covered in blood.

There was blood on the wall, smears and splatters. There was some on the floor, where people had bled out.

And there was a crown. A golden crown that seemed suitable for a prince. It was on a small wooden table, in the corner of the room.

You looked to Kiri as you whispered something. "Should I get it?"

He nodded.

You nodded as well, carefully stepping onto the icy floor and sliding to the wooden table. You carefully picked up the golden crown in your hands, feeling the three gems that were imbedded in it.

Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby.

These colors looked oddly familiar to you.

Nonetheless, you slid back over to the door, seeing your dweller friend and smiling at him. You turned around and closed the door, watching as the wallpaper grew back over it and it was hidden once again.

You sighed as you looked to Kiri, then to the crown.

"I think we should get out of here."

——

As soon as you stepped outside the manor, your stomach was upset. You quickly ran to a nearby tree, holding onto it as you vomited. Seeing so much blood made you sick. So sick.

You wiped your mouth, groaning as you looked to Kiri. He seemed worried.

"I'm alright, buddy." You gave a weak smile as you gently pat his head. "Cmon, lets head back."

——

You and Kiri were on your way back to Snatcher's house, crown in hand. You looked into the sky, seeing the beautiful moon in the purple clouds. You thought for a minute before hearing a voice.

"Miss!" A voice called, it sounded like it was in your head.

"Miss, up here. Up where the moon shines bright!" The voice called again. "Where the stars linger and sparkle!"

You looked to Kiri. "Do you hear that?"

He nodded his head.

You looked at the sky, and the horizon. You stared before a weird looking man wearing a mask appeared. His arms were stretched out in a blue trench coat and it had gold buttons.

Your eyes widened the more he appeared. He had a mask on, with red, green and blue markings.

"Miss, can you help me?" He asked, looking down at you.

"H-How would I be able to help you?" You asked, taking a step back. It looked like he was chained up in the horizon.

"Someone trapped me in the horizon, imprisoned me while I was sleeping." He said, moving a little as the clanking of chains could be heard.

"I can't reach you, though." You looked up at him, tilting your head. "There's no way I can reach you." You turned away from him as you started walking away.

"Miss! Miss, wait!" He called again. "Please, May you return tomorrow?" He asked, almost sounding like a beg.

You stopped to look at him, then sighed before giving a small smile. "I will. What's your name?"

A smile spread across his face. "I'm Moon Jumper! But you may call me MJ, miss! And you?"

"Y/N, and the little dweller is Kiri." You replied as you pointed to Kiri.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Y/N!" He smiled.

"You too, MJ. Now I should get going. I'll see you tomorrow." You waved as you began to walk away again, heading back to Snatcher's house.

——

You had finally arrived back at the mushroom home, walking up the purple vine and standing right beside the door where Snatcher couldn't see you.

You listened in for a moment, quietly peeking your head inside.

Snatcher was trying to read his book, but clearly wasn't focused. He hand his face in one claw and the other was tapping on the chair. There were multiple scratches in the arm of the chair, clear signs of him being nervous.

He kept glancing around the room, then to the book, trying to focus on reading, but failing.

A small grin appeared on your face as you jumped out from behind the wall, yelling.

"I'M BACK, NOODLE!"

Snatcher jumped up, the book fall from his lap and creating a loud thud. He looked at you in the doorway and glared, but he was secretly glad to see you.

"Really, Kid?!" He groaned as he picked up the book and set it in the chair as he stood up. "And 'Noodle' of all names?" He couldn't help but chuckle at that one.

You shrugged. "I dunno, you just remind me of a pasta noodle." You giggled a bit as you looked at him.

He only rolled his eyes as a small purple blush appeared on his face. He quickly scooped you up and embraced you, holding you in his noodle arms.

You couldn't help but smile as you snuggled into his warm fur. For a somewhat evil ghost, he sure does love hugs and cuddles.

"Oh, so I didn't make it to the attic like the contract said." You pulled away from the hug as you looked at him. "But Kiri helped me find this."

You pulled the crown out of your pocket and showed it to him. "It looks like it was made for a prince." You said as you looked at it.

Snatcher was oddly quiet.

"Yeah, it does." He replied, yet kept a somewhat firm grasp on you. "It's very pretty, where did you find this?"

"It was in a hidden room behind the fridge in the kitchen." You looked at him. "There were handcuffs chained to the wall and blood everywhere..." You said quietly.

"That sounds horrible." He said quietly, sighing. "Are you alright? You aren't hurt?"

"I'm fine, Snatch." You pushed away his claws with a small giggle. "I'm fine, just a bit tired." You yawned as you buried your face in his warm fur. "You're so soft..."

And before you knew it, you had drifted off to sleep in Snatcher's arms. He went back over to his chair and moved the book, sitting down as he gently pet your head.

"I won't let her hurt you."

"I promise."
