four months pregnant;
"there's a proper bump growing" hero says, kissing my stomach.
as he kisses my stomach, i feel the baby kick me.

five months pregnant;
the baby is moving around a lot, it's kicking me but i don't mind. i can't wait to meet my baby.

six months pregnant;
"it's a girl" the nurse says.
a huge smile grows on my face and my eyes start to water. hero kisses my cheek and the nurse leaves the room.

seven months pregnant;
"do you like it?" hero says as he smiles proudly.
her room is beautiful, pink and grey. just how i wanted it.
a beautiful chandelier hanging room the ceiling, the walls grey, a small grey velvet couch/seat where i can feed her, and a white changing table. her drawers are filled with all her outfits that i am excited to put her in.
"i love it" i say, walking up to hero.
i cup his cheeks and kiss him.
"i love you" i mumble against his lips.

eight months pregnant;
josephine; can you pick up some oreos up for me xx
hero; which ones my love
josephine; double stuffed, family packet please.
josephine; and can i have a tub of ice cream baby
hero; anything else?
josephine; are you trying to call me fat?
hero; no i just want to make sure my beautiful baby mama and daughter aren't hungry x
josephine; that's all
josephine; i love you
hero; i love you too

nine months pregnant;
"you can do it" hero says, kissing my hand.
"hero if you don't shut the fuck up" i shout.
"this is your fault, you got my pregnant"  he chuckles.

"just one more push" the midwife says.
i push.
and the room is filled with the sound of my daughter crying.
