Genus Rap

The origin of rap in Mexico dates back to the late 70s, decade where the 4 hip hop currents (Rap, Breakdance, Graffiti and Turntablism or "Djing") were formed in New York, these currents arrived and developed by Separated in the country for this reason the history of Mexican rap (MCs and DJs) is linked to that of breakdance and graffiti but is totally independent of these two currents.
