Reggaeton was developed in Puerto Rico and Panama in 1990, one of the pioneers in this genre was Vico c, Ivy queen, dady yankee, among others. This has become an expression model for many young Latinos. With the passage of time, the musical proposals that were being developed in Puerto Rico and Panama would end up meeting to give rise to one of the most important and influential musical genres of the world today. The reality is that, although critics propose every day a reason not to listen to reggaeton, the success of that genre is an undeniable reality. Considered by many as "a generic industry" that makes the songs disposable, reggaeton has managed to position itself over the years as one of the most influential musical expressions of the 21st century.
