Chapter 17

2 Days Later ..

As you guessed it, my house had been evicted and there was nowhere to go . My baby, Arianna is the only one that was on my mind. I would been food and shlter for her as she's still a baby. The worst thing of all is that it's a very chilly night. Christmas Eve Night. Yes it's Christmas Eve and I have no money to go anywhere, I wish I could drive somewhere but my gas was finished ! I just sat on the porch with Arianna all snuggled up on me with a blanket around us so that we wouldn't be cold.

We sat here for 2 hours and it was now 10 pm that's when I saw a car pull up (an unfamilliar car) which blinded my sight with the bright front lights. I saw a silhouette of a man get out the car but once again the lights where blinding me so I couldn't make out who this person was. Once he approched me, holding some gifts ? It was Chresanto !

"Chresanto... I-Is that you ?"-I asked 

"What happened ?"-Chresanto asked in shock as he dropped all the presents and ran to comfort us

"We got evicted and I couldn't pay within the 2 days because I lost my job and I have nowhere to go "-I said as I looked down 

"Oh my goodness"-Chresanto expressed

"What a lovely Christmas Eve it is"- I said sarcasticly

"I came here to give you guys some presents on ChristmasEve as I could't come tommorow but I came to this. I'm happy that I came "-Chresanto nodded

"But there's nothing we can do and I'm starving I haven't eaten since last night"-I said "And little Arianna is cold, feel her cheeks"-I added

"Damn. Come on"-Chresanto picked up Arianna from me which gave me chills as it was cold then he helped my up 

"Were are w-w-we going ?"- I stuttured as it was cold as hell 

"Back to my place"-Chresanto nodded and I stayed quiet but just followed him into the car 

Chresanto went back to pick up the presents he had dropped then got into the car and made his way back to his house.

"Chresanto ?"-I asked

"Yes ?"-He replied 

"How comes I haven't seen you for ages ?"-I asked 

"Well I moved to the other side of town and I figured that you didn't wanna talk to me so I never told you"-Chresanto said as he kept his eyes on the road . I stayed quiet 

"I have no clothes or anything Chresanto.."-I randomly said 

"Don't worry and we're gonna make a stop at mc donalds since your hungry and it's a long drive back"-Chresanto said and I nodded 

We had gotten our food and were almost at his house. My stomach started hurting and I wasn't sure if it was because of the food but all I knew was that I had to throw up ...

"STOP THE CAR !"-I shouted and Chresanto slammed on the brakes

I unbuckled my seatbelt and threw up outside of the car. God, that was unusual .

"Oh my gosh, are  you alright "-Chresanto asked 

"I-I I think so"-I said unsure of myself 

"Here"-Chresanto handed me some chewing gum 

"Thanks"-I gave him a small smile and took the piece of chewing gum 

"You gonna be alright ?"-Chresanto asked

"Yes, I'm sure that it was nothing"-I laughed a little and got back into the car 

"Well alright"-Chresanto shrugged his shoulders and began to drive again 

"Are we almost there ?"-I asked 

"Yeah, almost"-Chresanto said 

About 10 minutes we arived and his house. It was soo big and beautiful, I couldn't help but gaze at the perfect structure of the house.

"You gonna just gonna stare at the house or come in ?"-Chresanto joked as he picked up Arianna 

"Oh"-I said a little red as I didn't realize how long I was n my trance for

We entered his house and it was very big and beautiful. It made me miss my house. I sighed and just took Arianna from Chresanto.

"Baby ... Baby is that you ?"-Symone asked from the next room 

"Yes baby"-Chresanto said hanging up his coat on the side

"Baby ! .... Uhh where is she here ?"-Symone asked 

"... Don't worry baby"-Chresanto held onto Symone 

"No. Tell me why she's in our home"-Symone gave me a stank face 

"Listen bitch, I ain't afraid to beat yo pregnant ass so I suggest that you stfu bitch"-I said and everyone got quiet. Aha, what I thought so

"Ugh, bae you gon' let her call me out of my name "-Symone scoffed and raised her eyebrow 

"Both of you stop it ! Just stop it ! I can't stand niether of you when you're like this !"-Chresanto shouted and parted us from each other 

"But baby"-Symone put on her fake whiny ass baby voice 

"No ! We gonna act like a family ... ALL of us !"-Chresanto shouted 

"Chresanto ... I would appriciate if you just showed me my room to sleep in"-I said changing the subject 

"... Well umm follow me "-Chresanto said and began walking 

Chresanto lead me into the guest bedroom yet, looked lke a main bedroom. Once again I was amazed . Chresanto really did have good taste in apartments because I was really liking this one so far.

"Uhh ... I'll go and get you some soaps and some toiletries for you and Arianna"-Chresanto said 

"Thank you but what about clothes ? I ain't gonna wear that hoe's clothes if that's what you're thinking"-I scoffed and looked the other way 

"Why can't y'all just get along ?"-Chresanto asked 

"You know why Chresanto. C'mon now, don't act dumb"-I gave him the evils

"Well I don't know what you're gonna wear then"-Chresanto shrugged 

"Whatever I'll just sleep in my bra and panties then"-I rolled my eyes and layed Arianna down onto the nice, soft bed

"You sure ?"-Chresanto sighed 

"Yes now go and get the stuff "-I shoo'd him out of the room 

Chresanto got some toiletries for me and Arianna to use but I didn't realize that he had walked in so he saw me in my bra and panties.

"COULD YOU KNOCK !"-I shouted and I grew red and covered myself up 

"Don't act like I haven't seen your body before ... Come on now"-Chresanto gave a light chuckle and placed the stuff on the side 

"Whatever now may you leave ?"-I asked motioning for him to get out 

"Sure"-Chresanto laughed again and make his way out

I turned off the lights and tucked myself in bed right next to my baby; Arianna. I just couldn't help but look up into the pitch black ceiling and just think about how greatful I am to have people  that will help be . People who will actually look out for me ... People like, Chresanto. I smiled to myself before difting away into a dreamless sleep .
