Chapter 10

The Next Morning 

I woke up to realize Chresanto out of his bed, I was confused then I realized that I was naked . I started smiling when I remembered what happened last night . I sighed and looked for my clothes which were scattered all  over the place . 

I quickly put on my clothes and went to do my hygiene before heading downstairs . The smell of pancakes and bacon just waffed up my nose .

"Well goodmorning "-Chresanto grinned 

"Uhh .. Morning"-I said a little unsure

"I made breakfast . Your plate is there if you want some"-Chresanto pointed to my plate 

"Sure"-I smiled alittle and picked up my food and started heading upstairs when Chresanto stopped me 

"You know that you can eat downstairs here , right ?"-Chresanto said 

"I know but I wanna eat upstairs "-I said 

"Well alright"-Chresanto shrugged and continued eating his breakfast . I continued walking up the stairs when I saw Chresanto smirk at me , leaving me a little confused .

Once I had finished enjoying the food, I went back downstairs to wash my plate then I realized that the sink was full up . Damn . Chresanto doesn't clean up his stuff anymore . I huffed in aggravation and decided to wash up everything, which actually took longer than expected . 

Chresanto had passed out on the sofa with a piece of bacon attached to his face when I slapped him causing him to jump right up .

"Damn, what was that for, huh ?"-Chresanto rubbed his cheek 

"Oooh some bacon"-Chresanto cheesed and ate the bacon . Disgusting ugh 

"You're soo digusting & keep on eating that and your gonna get fat"-I shifted my weight to one hip & folded my arms 

"Whatever"-Chresanto said 

"And also why aint you washing the dishes no more, huh ?"-I asked

"Man, you're starting to sound like a wife"-Chresanto rolled his eyes 

"It's called being a good wife "-I rolled my eyes 

"Whatever. Anyways, do you remember Tyrell ?"-Chresanto asked 

"Yes, why ?"-I asked 

"He's coming over today"-Chresanto said 

"Okay ... And ?"-I asked 

"And so , I want you to be nice "-Chresanto said 

"I'm always nice nigga . But hey, I wanted to ask you something"-I said 

"What is it ?"-Chresanto asked 

"When will I be able to go home ? Like to see my parents and stuff just be at my house "-I asked

"Uhh ... Um well . Very soon"-Chresanto lied 

"Mhmm"-I narrowed my eyes at him and it seemed that he thought that I knew the truth , which was right. 

"Why .. Why do you ask ?"-Chresanto cleared his throat 

"Because umm I miss my home with my family and friends"-I said 

"Oh .. Right ."-Chresanto looked of to the side almost as if he was sad ? Mad ?

"Whats wrong ?"-I asked 

"Nothing"-Chresanto looked down 

"No, tell me"-I said 

"It's just that you remind me of my mom ... She was just ...."-Chresanto trailed off

"Just what ?"-I lifted his chin so that he could look at me, but seemed like he had tears in his eyes 

"She was so beautiful and you just reminded me of her . She was soo pretty"-Chresanto said and looked back down 

"What happened ? ... I mean you can tell me if you want but you don't have to"-I said 

"My mom ... She was shot by her boyfriend just when I was 8 and I witnessed all of it "-Chresanto explained as his voiced sounded like it was gonna break any moment

"I am soo sorry to have heard that, Chresanto"-I said in shock as I covered my mouth 

"Well let me tell you what happened ..."

~Flashback~

"I AM SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR BULLSHIT DERRICK ! SO YOU'VE BEEN CHEATING ON ME THIS WHOLE TIME WITH YOUR CO-WORKER , KAYLA ? YOU FUCKING BASTARD !"- My mom slapped Derrick in the next room 

"SHUT THE HELL UP ! YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY THAT I DIDN'T GET HER PREGNANT , BITCH ! AND WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU TALKING TO , HUH ? I WILL FUCKING SHOOT YOU !"-Derrick said grabbing my mom's throat . I peeked out of the door to witness what was happening , I was shocked 

"GET OFF ME .. I-I CAN'T BREATH !"-My mom said struggling to breath 

"SHUT THE FUCK UP , BITCH !"-Derrick pulled out his gun 

"LEAVE MY MOMMY ALONE !"- I shouted causing Derrick to smirk and put the put to my momma's head 

"Or what son ?"-Derrick smirked 

"I'LL TELL ON YOU ! LEAVE MY MOMMY ALONE !"-I stomped my feet 

"Come closer and I'll shoot her "-Derrick warned , I saw tears in my momma's eyes 

"LET HER GO !"- I demanded and took a step closer 

"That's it !"-Derricked shouted 

BOOM ! 

Everything went dead silent .

~End Of Flasback~

Chresanto was now crying and there was a pain in my heart as I felt sorry for him . I rubbed his back and comforted him .

"It's okay Chresanto , it's okay"-I rubbing his back and gave him a tight hug . He was to sad to even talk which was okay .

"Can I be honest with you ?"-Chresanto looked into my eyes 

"Yes"-I nodded 

"You could have left this place ages ago but, it's just that you reminded me of my mom who was soo preety and beautiful . She could always take care of herself and well that's why I haven't told you . Please don't be mad but if you hate me, you can't hate me forever"-Chresanto explained . I was a little mad but , I understood 

"Look I am mad, the fact that I could have been out of here ages ago but like you said I can't stay mad at you forever & I know that it would mean a lot as I remind you of your mom "-I said wiping his tears with my thumb

"Thank you"-Chresanto sniffed and hugged me 

"It's alright"-I giggled causing him to laugh alittle

"That's why I do this"-Chresanto said 

"Do what ?"-I asked a little confused

"Save girl from their boyfriends as they have a plan to kill their girlfriends . That's why I saved you because your boyfriend was gonna kill you and you didn't even know . I- I don't always fall in love with them though"-Chresanto said and my heart started racing 

"Yn , I love you"
