A Dream

Do forgive me

As again, you stunned me there;

You're the picture perfect scene,

I can't help but stand and stare

You're just like the summer breeze;

So warm, comforting-

Lulling me into a trance, a dream,

In which you're just too endearing

This day-dreamy state

Slows my internal clock;

Perhaps it's my selfish soul's way

To prolong what time we've got

In my mind

I try to reach out,

Through the whirlwinds-

Formulate coherent thoughts

It's like the density of air in dreams-

You hurry but you're stuck at your speed;

My frustrations scream,

Futilely, so it seems

But then there're dreams, as they develope,

You finally gain control;

I'll wait for Time's brush and palette,

To finally paint my portrait whole

In the meantime,

Do bear with me;

You're just too enthralling-

I need to realize that this is not a dream..
