I usually see female characters do this trope. They'll say something like. I was sitting on my bed reading a book by *insert authors name* when I was interrupted...
Usually I'm like well if you read Wattpad you should know how to get out of many of these situations. But I guess you haven't gotten to that chapter in the book huh?
