I know this isn't only in Wattpad only but it seems like sometimes authors only know about New York and Los Angeles when they have characters in the US. I'm like there are 48 different states here that have yet to be written in a story.
I live in a somewhat popular state, and I know the feeling of how excited I get when I see my state mentioned. I can't imagine how rare it must be for the midwestern states or northern states.
