Change

New Life

It's been two days since I escaped, I've been traveling with this very strange Vaporeon and I don't know where she's taking me but it's making me very uncomfortable. I already told her I was human, but it did not seem like she minded that though.

I liked being an Eevee, I did not feel cold or tired. My body felt like an air conditioned room in the desert, and a heated one in the snow. I guess this large detour in my life wasn't as bad as I thought, I just wondered if I got lucky to be an Eevee or if If they selected the Pokémon I was gonna be.

"We're almost there" She told me.

"Okay..." I replied.

It was almost five seconds before we had a conversation.

"So what was it like being human?" She asked.

I was a little surprised at the question, but I answered it, "It was my definition of normal, I had birthday parties, saw some weddings, ate good food, listened to music for example" I answered.

"So that's what it's like?" She replied.

"Y-yeah"

"Anyway - we're here" She said stopping infront of a bush. I thought she'd gone mad then she went into the bush, I waited out there still baffled, what was she trying to play?

"Come on - You'll love it" She said.

I rolled my eyes, "Fine"

I followed her threw the bush and then into the bush, we spent the next 3 minutes walking through the bushes before coming up on a cottage probably a little bigger then an Ursaring. It had been constructed in a large mushroom and had windows, a garden in the front, and a beautiful elderly tree that was shading the house, but there was still sunlight managing to peak through.

I had never seen anything so beautiful, I loved it.

"Come on in" She told me.

I proceeded to walk inside being careful to not step on the flowers, it's kind of hard when you were born human and became a Pokémon in a laboratory. Im still trying to coordinate properly but it's getting easier.

"I'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier, my name is Sky" She said introducing herself, "My family will be home shortly"

"Family?"

"Yes. My family"

"Oh okay"

I took a moment to look around, there was a kitchen, an area to eat, a play area which immediately gave away there were children here. I went upstairs, up there was a light blue room, a dark blue one, I figured belonged to Sky, a green room with plants in it, a black room which was very dark but had a light inside, a purple room and a brown room with splashes of silver in it. Then at the end of the upstairs hall was an empty room which I was guessing to be for me - Ha! I doubt they'd let me stay though.

I saw a bed on the floor, I felt like I needed the rest so I plopped down, when I laid down normally my back began to bother me so I tried laying the way Eevees usually lay, like a curled up pastry, surprisingly it worked, I sighed and slowly fell asleep. I believe I had indeed deserved the rest.
