"So you're telling me you snuck in our ship because you were kidnapped from your home after your family was killed by those of the fire Nation and for seven years you were forced to work as a servant for the nobles?"

I sip a cup of tea that Iroh gave me when we sat down for a chat. He remembered my face I guess. I told him part of my story, now we're having a leisurely chat about what I should do.

"Yup, that's about right. Also, I knocked out a guard on the way here sooo, yeah... Be prepared for that mess." I roll my eyes, downing the rest of my tea. It's like, really good tea to be honest.

The old my sighs and refills my cup. "Okay, I will talk to my nephew, but you will probably have to leave when we reach the first dock, understand?"

I nod. "That was the plan! I'm so glad I'm free now! Children shouldn't be locked up in such abysmal places. It's a wonder that such an honorable child survived this long with that man for a father." I get up and stretch after downing another cup of tea. "Well, I'm gonna wonder the ship now see ya~." I wink before leaving the room, I'm so adorable I bet he was mesmerized by my cuteness!

Geez, when did I became a narcissist?

Eh, whatever.

_______________

I sit on the side/edge (whatever these border things are called on ships) and let my hair fly free in the salty air. I haven't been on a ship in a long time, this is kinda nice. Well, except for the fact I can't feel my dominate arm!

Ya'know what, no.. I'm not even mad. It'll heal eventually, then I'll just have to work my ass off to get it functioning properly. Yeah, that's what I'll do!

I wrapped my arm in a bandage and start training my body to get used to only using my left arm.

_______________
-few days later-

"May, would you like to train with my nephew for a moment?" Iroh called out to me, speaking without malice or indecency. He's a really kind hearted person, no wonder he couldn't survive in the fire Nation.

I'm balancing myself on my left hand, I've gotten better with it over these past few days, but still no luck with my injured arm.  "I don't mind General, as long as he doesn't fire bend that is."

The old man smiles. "Oh no, trust me, this is just a hand to hand combat battle."

I push myself up just to flip over and land on my feet. "K. When do we start?"

I'm actually excited for this! I haven't actually had any real interaction with Zuko since I've been on the ship, he hasn't left his room at all. I wonder if he's okay?

Meh, he's a prince, he's probably fine.... Right? He's been fine without me... Right?? Someone please say I'm right!

______________

Old man Iroh stands to the side, I guess he's gonna be like a proctor or something. "This will just be a sparring match, no bending. Is that understood?"

Zuko still has his eye bandaged, doesn't look like he changed it. He is prepared to fight me though, doesn't seem like he remembers me at all, but that's fair.

"Yes, uncle." He sounds better than he did a few days ago, and there's a resolved look in his eye.

I start stretching, making sure my hood  just barely covers my eyes. I'm not trying to remind em of that day, so I think it's best if he doesn't recognize me.
Fighting with one hand is difficult, but not impossible, I mean I've seen it on TV a lot in my last life so.... Eh.
