She was in a daze, she didn't realise what was happening, she tried to remember yesterday's event, she was sure she just had a drink and very well knew her alcohol tolerance was way more than a drink, she groggily opened her eyes and sat up and realised she was not alone in the bed, there was David sleeping next to her , naked she was still confused about this scenario, why was David sleeping next to her and why was he naked, where was Jake

She tried to make her way out of the bed but that was then she realised she was naked too, she was furious, she didn't understand if it was a joke, she started hitting David furiously, once she had his attention she began questioning him, " Why am I naked in the bed with you, I was supposed to be with Jake, David please be honest with me, what the hell is happening?"

David was sitting there with a smirk on his face, he replied " Babe what are you talking about, we know we need each other and we can't be apart, we spent the night together, I don't see what is the big deal about this, you came on to me so why are you pretending as if you are unaware about last night"

Rachel was dumbfounded at his words, he was her best friend she couldn't comprehend this behaviour of his, she got up from the bed with the sheets wrapped around her body and angrily ordered him to leave the room.

David stared at her with pure hatred in his eyes, Rachel was stunned for a moment to witness this much hatred from her friend, he started walking towards her with a resolve in his eyes, he slammed his lips to hers, she was very disconcerted by this behaviour of his and didn't know how to react

She was startled by the door opening and finding Jake standing there with a stunned look on his face

Jake didn't know how to respond to this situation, he would have never guessed his girl would cheat on him with his best friend but the evidence was there right in front of him and he thought foolishly he trusted both of them, he could have yelled or showed them their place but he thought it was not worth it so he just told Rachel,"it's over" and left.

Rachel couldn't believe Jake left without hearing her side, she knew she lost and Jake didn't deserve her, she turned to David and with bitterness in her mouth informed him " you won"

She just wished Jake would have stayed with her and listened to her and would have shared the joy of her being pregnant with his kid.
