"I can't believe it's all over..."

Calix looked over at his sister when she spoke. It had been quiet for the longest time, the twins standing out on the balcony and staring into the dark night in utter silence. The nation of Iléa was abuzz over the events of ball but the palace itself was quiet. Everyone had been asleep for a long time, even the remaining guests and the two people who would remain at the palace for the rest of their lives. But Jessamine and Calix weren't sleeping, not even close.

"Me either..." He admitted with a small shake of his head, an incredulous look on his face that his twin could see even in the dark. He still sounded surprised, like he couldn't quite grasp what had happened to them.

"Calix... Thank you. Thank you for fighting for this for me. I don't know what I'd do without you." Jessamine smiled a little and hugged her brother as they looked out at the kingdom that someday, someday very soon, would be in their control.

"Thank you for believing in me, even though I'm kind of an idiot." They laughed at that, actually sounding happy for the first time in a long time. The weight of the world was still on their shoulders but at least it wasn't crushing them anymore.

"You're welcome... You're going to be a great king someday, I don't care what they say." Jessamine was quiet, not in a bad way, just overwhelmed. They'd been worrying and stressed for so long that she didn't know how else to be.

He smiled over at her as she yawned and pulled her sweater closer around her body. He was still giddy from what had happened earlier in the day and he couldn't stop smiling at his drowsy sister. She wanted to laugh at him but it was late and she was exhausted and they still had a long road ahead of them but everything was okay in that moment. Everything was going to be okay. She hugged him again before turning to leave.

"And you will be a great queen. Goodnight, Jess."

"Goodnight, Calix."

And she went back into the study, tucking away the Selection files for the very last time.

Yay! Dorky intro!

I'm really excited, guys, this was such an amazing Games and I love you all and oh my glob this was just amazing. We had some bumps in the road but here we are with our four amazing finalists and a fabulous new Games ahead of us.

With that said...

It's time.

FOURTH PLACE!

Demetrius Pelei!

The 'fish boy from Angeles' wasn't expected to get far in the competition. His attitude and slightly destructive nature was thought to be the thing that took him down but it's what Jessamine loved about him in the first place. They were obviously close and he was a clear favorite of hers from the beginning. His relationship with his 'Belle' was sweet and sad to the core but in the end, there was just too much turbulence between the two for Jessamine to choose him...

THIRD PLACE!

Melody Maravilla!

A sweet girl with a good heart and an amazing head on her shoulders, Melody was a standout from the start. The kindergarten teacher turned budding socialite wasn't afraid to argue with the prince of Iléa, though she mooned over him like everyone else. From reuniting with her father to realizing how much she hated Calix's, Melody had an eventful Selection. However, everything was too much for her and she declined Calix's proposal...

WHICH LEADS US TO...

SECOND PLACE

CO-VICTOR!

Arian Lancaster!

Nobody, not even Arian himself, expected the pretty boy from Clermont to win Prince Calix's heart. Though snarky and a bit harsh sometimes, Arian's soft side started to show as he got closer to Calix and soon realized that he did have a chance to find love after all. Though their relationship was rough at times and there were many obstacles in the way of their romance, Melody's rejection of Calix was enough to push him to realize who he really wanted by his side for the rest of his life, no matter what Iléa would think.

FIRST PLACE

CO-VICTOR

Alexander Rohkeus!

Our Dark Horse, Alexander, wasn't intended to get too far in the competition. Joining in a 'follow the leader' sort of way, he wasn't even sure he wanted to fight to win Jessamine's heart. However, things changed after the departure of his best friend Patch and Jessamine's pushing him to be the prince she wanted him to be. Though he was threatened with a ticket home more than once, he held on and made his way into Jessamine's heart.

CONGRATS TO YOU ALL, THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!

MORE DETAILS ABOUT MY NEXT GAMES WILL BE POSTED SOON!
