she texted as I waited at home.
It was an indoor movie date. The clock was ticking and I was doing nothing but waiting.
Soon, she was there. I didn't waste time. The TV was already
switched on. We shared one blanket.
I rested my hand on hers and let her rest her head on my shoulder. Halfway through the movie, she was asleep, right there, on my shoulder. She looked as beautiful as
never before.
As I ignored the movie and started admiring her instead, I heard a knock at the main door.
I absolutely didn't wish to take my eyes off her, but I carefully settled her head on the headrest of the sofa and got to the main door.
"I'm so sorry honey, I couldn't make it on time," she said. That beautiful girl just tricked me, I guess.
