Ch2

Nkki POV:

I ran in the school, because I was already 20 minutes late and soaking wet. As I ran in I took my hair out its bun, closed the umbrella, took off my jacket, and hurried to switch my shoes. I was half way down the hall when I heard some cries. I got closer, and closer, until I saw Jade. She was sitting on the floor with her back against the lockers and her head in her hands. I ran to her and tried helping her up

Me: Jade! What happened?

Jade: N-nothing Nikki

Me: Jade, you have to tell me!

Jade: I s-said nothing! Just leave me a-alone!

Me: Im not going to! Your my best friend!

Jade: Well s-screw you! Ill be the o-one leaveing t-then!!

She got up and ran. I cant believe she treated me like this after all we've been through. She's my best friend, but she's changed since 4th grade. And she wont tell me, her best friend, whats going on

Jade POV:

I ran away from Nikki as fast as I could. My sight got blurry, and I started panting. I slowed down my pace, and eventually stopped. I dropped to my knees with silent tears. I searched my body for my inhaler. No such luck. Soon I started gasping for air. I saw Raquan walking towards me with my inhaler. He was pumping the air out. I reached for it, but he pulled back. He dropped it on the floor and walked away. I hurried and grabbed it. I kept pumping the inhaler, but nothing came out. Last thing I heard was my name being called, then I blacked out
