Jade POV:
Im so happy Desi cut in the middle. I really love her. They just carried on a normal conversation so I walked away. Nikki bumped into me and we both fell to the floor.
Me: Um h-hey
Nikki: Hey Jade
We both stood to our feet.
Nikki: So hows it been for you?
Me: Same... not all that
Nikki POV:
Once again Im late for school. Im late about everyday because of my mom and bitter drunk dad. They argue every morning and I stay to make sure nothing happens. My dad also abuses me, because I dont follow his rules. My parents have an interacial love. My mom is Mexican, and my dad is Indian. My dad wants me to carry on the "Indian tradition", but Im not into the whole wearing robes everyday. Its not me! Im a punk rock girl! Everyday I put on my regular clothes, and just put on the robe over top. I wear my hair in a bun, but when I go to school I take it out. I wear flats, but I change into tennis shoes, or boots at school. I dyed my hair partially blonde too. Also my dad hates me because Im a "rebel" and he says
"Why cant you be more like your sister Rose? This is what I hate about you!"
Thats why I keep rebeling against him! When he compares me to Rose I feel broken. Jade is the only one that made me feel wanted! Now here we are, alone. Nothing to do, but talk it out. She's my bestie and I dont want to lose her!
