Part 32- "Shayla! What the fuck!"

SHAYLA

Third block was around the corner as the bell rings dismissing us to third block. Jay catches up to me and puts his arm around me.

"Hey boo" he says

"Hey boo, how are you and why didn't you come in to Hunter's house yesterday?" I ask him

"Oh I was busy and it was late" he answers avoiding the real reason.

"Well what were you busy doing?" I questioned him again.

"Why so many questions boo, I was just busy" he rolls his eyes playfully.

"Okay then at least be safe while doing so" I say seriously.

"Alright" he says as we enter the class room and I put my earphones in as I walk to my seat.

Pandora comes on and it plays Jacquees. (I love Jacquees music even though it is filled with dirty things- Author 😘).

The two boys that was assigned to my new group say in front of me. One of them taps on my desk, I pull out an earphone and look up at him.

"Hey... That dude who was doing the ..... beating yesterday was..he your boyfriend?" He nervously asks.

"Uhhh... Yeah he is" I politely tell them.

"Will he beat up anyone talking or touching you like he did yesterday?" He lingers on the subject.

"Well yesterday was a different scenario... Ceil was ...he ...was....well he won't if you don't give him a reason to"I stop myself from telling them about Ceil.

"So like right now because we are talking to you, he won't hurt us" the other boy say frightened, I almost laugh.

"No" I smile, "what's your name?" I ask the white male, with straight brown shoulder length hair and hazel eyes.

"Jacob" he states.

"And you?" I ask the other, he seemed Hispanic, with curly black hair that was down pass his armpits, and his dark brown eyes.

"Miguel" he speaks, I was about to introduce myself but Miguel stopped me and said that practically everyone in the class knew me now because of the fight between the boys.

I had nothing else to say to them so I put my earphones back in and the bells rings. Hunter walks in and sits beside me as the teacher closes the door and she walks to the front of the classroom starting her lesson. Hunter lays his hand on my thigh and I feel my face heat up.

Hunter drops me off at my house and I walk up to my room and drop my backpack and take off my shoes. I walk to my closet taking a pair of clothes to sleep in out and take a shower. I lay down to take a nap but only to feel like, I had to get right back up because I hear my mom walk into the house but when I look at my clock it has only been a couple of hours.

I walk down to tell kitchen greeting my mom.

"Hey baby want to explain why you weren't at home on a school night?" She wasn't smiling and there was no hint to playful in her voice.

"Okay so mom I was at someone's house..." I started but she interrupts me.

"Shayla....Are you being safe?" She asks.

"Are you using condoms?" She asks another question.

"Uhhh......n...no" I say quietly.

"Shayla! What the fuck!" She yells at me and my heart beat speeds up, not liking getting yelled at.

"Are you pregnant!?" She yells again and I know by now my brothers can hear her yelling making me feel embarrassed.

"No, I'm not" I also say quietly.

She pulls out her phone looking at the time.

"Your lucky this gynecologist works late," she grabs my forearm hard and drags me to her car, not caring for my attire of PJs.

We pulled up to the building where a late gynecologist works  at, walk-in and there are other girls with pregnant bellies or I guess girls who are probably having a terrible night like me.

I take a seat next to a girl who looks very young and very much pregnant, she smiles at me as I sit next to her.

"Are you pregnant?" She kindly asks.

"Oh I wish when I get older" I tell her.

"Oh yeah, it's a good idea to wait"

I was going to respond to her when my mom calls me and we both go to the ack room. We walk into a room  and the female doctor is sitting in a chair facing the computer.

"Alright what's going on" the doctor asks

"She needs to be put on birth control, now" my mom demands.

"Would you like your mom in or out?" The doctor asked me feeling annoyed by my mom already.

I feel you doc

"Uhh mom" I give her that look as in please, could you go and she glares at me and makes her way out the door.

"We got to run some test before giving you the pills" the doctor states.

"Okay"

"Umm go change back there," she points in the corner where there is a curtain and I get up to change into the blue gown. As I came from behind the curtain, she pats the bed table for me to get on. After the series of test, making sure I'm not pregnant, and that everything looks okay down there, she tells me my first month of pills will be giving to me at my local pharmacy tomorrow. She also tells me when I take my first pill to make sure I take it at the same time every day. I change into my original clothes and walk out the room with my mom sitting by the door on a bench.

"Let's go " she says and we make our way to the car.

We arrived at home and I follow her to her room and at the door way," there is one more thing" I tell her.

"What is it?"

"Hunter and I plan for our families to meet this Saturday" I say.

"Alright, I would like to meet this boy is anyway and we getting them pills before school and your taking it first thing" she says .

"Okay it's Saturday and it's at their house" I walk away to my room and lay there on my bed falling asleep.
