The crunching of dry leaves could be heard from miles around, the chilly wind, blowing the wild beaches around. Jane and Alec were walking in perfect synchronization, Felix and Demetri trailing just behind them. A blur shot in front of them, ceasing the sound of footsteps immediately.
"Ah...if it isn't the infamous four. What a delight." Said a voice.
"Come out. You are under trail from the Volturi." Hissed Jane.
Surprisingly, a vampire appeared in front of them, his features otherwise unfamiliar to all but the witch twins. Jane twitched uncomfortable under his gaze and Alec glared at him with such coldness that could freeze an entire continent.
"Lance." He coldy greeted.
"Dear Alec. It's been such a long time. How are you?" He smirked.
Alec had to refrain himself from killing him right then and there.
"You are to come back to Volterra with us to a trail with the three masters." He informed.
"But why would I? That would lead to my demise." He said innocently.
"You deserve much more than death." Hissed Jane.
He smirked.
"Oh but dear Jane.....you killed my partner. And many others before him."
Oh he did not just say that.
