*Friday*

It was almost lunch time when I finally recieved an email from Chris. I opened it eagerly, a small squeal escaping my lips as my fingers dashed across to the mouse to click on the tab. I can't believe he finally got back to me. My eyes roamed over the screen and my heart sank at what I read, which wasn't much.

RE: England.

Sav-

Much to tell you. Be home Sunday. Love you.

C.

I sighed and exited out my screen. I raked a hand through my hair before I got up. I couldn't take staying in her anymore. I needed to get out of my office. I went to lunch, which didn't help much because I was stuck inside the building. I ate quickly before I took my time getting back to my desk. It felt like an eternity before I was able to get off of work and go home.

The walk home was a bit longer than usual, due to the fact that I took my sweet damn time. I needed the space. I was feeling anxious lately in any building I was in, especially since everything around me reminded me that the man I loved wasn't here. When i got up to the apartment, Kate and Sam were waiting for me.

"Hey chicas, what are you doing here?" I asked, though I was definitely glad ot see them. Sam smiled.

"We came to get you so we can go out," Sam said. Kate nodded.

"Yep, I thought it was time for us to catch up over some drinks?" Kate added. I smiled.

"Yeah, sure," I said, fishing for my keys. "Let me change into jeans and a tee shirt and we can go." I found my keys and went to open the door. They stepped aside and I unlocked the barrier between me and the apartment.

I stepped in and let my bags fall to the ground before walking to the room to change. I came out five minutes later in a pair of black skinny jeans and a silver sheer shirt. Kate and Sam were waiting for me when I came out. I grabbed my phone, keys and wallet and motioned for us to leave. We filed out and I locked the door behind us.

We went to a local bar and sat in a booth. We had wings and fries while we drank some beer. It wasn't a typical girls night out dinner, but whatever. We ate what we wanted. We chatted for a long time after we finished eating, pecking at the left overs that were in front of us. We kept the drinks going throughout the night. We didn't have work the next night so why not?

It was late when we stumbled and giggled our way back to my place. Sam, Kate and I ended up crashing on the bed, each of us partially hanging off and curled into a ball.

*Saturday*

I didn't end up waking up into one in the afternoon. By then, Kate and Sam had already been up for a while and had made breakfast for all of us. I rubbed my eyes as I walked into the kitchen. Kate gave me a smile from behind the counter and motioned to the glass of orange juice and 2 Advil. I took them eagerly right before Sam wondered out to me and handed me a plate with eggs, potatos and toast with jelly. I took it and sat down on the couch to eat. Sam set the juice I neglected to bring with me on the table. After i finished eating, I took my plate to the kitchen and washed it. Then I looked at the clock. It was 2:30. Crap. I had to clean. I frowned and quickly put up the dishes and turned to Sam and Kate who had been sipping coffee while sitting on my counters.

"I have to start cleaning," I said. "He's coming home tomorrow."

Sam nodded and hopped down. "Well, I'll do the kitchen." Kate followered her lead and offered to do the dining and living room. I thanked them before I went to my room. I whirled thorought the room, tossig clothes to the doorway. I made my bed after throwing more clothes into the doorway.

Then I went into the adjoining bathroom and grabbed the clothes from in there. I brought them out and tossed them into the big pile. I turned and started to remove all of my hair stuff from the counter. I put my straighter up, after wrapping the cord around it, and put my make up back into a bag and put it in the cabnet next to the mirror. I tossed hair ties and bobby pins into the little hair box I had and put it with my make up. I turned and shut the shower curtain and straightened the rug in front of it. I made sure we had TP before I went to grapple with the dirty clothes.

I kicked the pile into the living room where Kate saw me. She laughed at my exhausted expression and the huge mound of clothes in front of me. She came and picked up some of the clothes while I grabbed some of the others. Together we went to the little closet where Chris had the washer and dryer and loaded them in. I put in detergent and started it before going back to get the rest of the pile. I put them right in front of the washer. Then I slid down the wall and sighed.

"I'm so tired," I grumbled as Sam poked her head out of the kitchen.

"Oh shush you big baby," she chatsied. "You're man is coming back tomorrow, be happy and besides you were supposed to keep this place clean-ish," she pointed out. I rolled my eyes. Kate stood in front of me and offered me her hands. I took them up and she pulled me up to my feet. We joined Sam in the kitchen and we finished that within ten minutes. Then we went to go watch TV.

They left after I folded and put away all the clothes. I hugged them goodbye, thanked them for taking me out and for helping. They gave me a hug and a kiss before rushing off to join their other halves. I ordered Chinese food and settled down to a night of a horror movie. I went to sleep around 11.

*Sunday*

"Savvy," Chris said. I grumbled. "Wake up, Sav."

No this is just a dream, i thought sleepily and rolled over. I felt a hand on my thigh and it traveled up my leg, caressed my sex for a second before coming up to my breasts before it brushed against my lips. A very realistic dream, I added.

"Savanna, wake up," Chris added. I felt lips on mine and on my cheek. I felt myself getting flustered. "Savvy."

I mumbled a shhh and threw a hand over my eyes to block out the sun and tried to go back to sleep. I wasn't going to fall for the dream again. Then the blankets were ripped off of me and I screamed at the coldness. Ok so maybe not a dream. I sat up, rubbed my eyes and opened them. I smiled at the sight I saw.

Chris was standing there, an irritated look on his face, his hands on his hips, his bags behind him, his shirt partially unbuttoned. The blanket was half on and half off the bed.

"Jesus, Sav," he pouted. "I didn't know it was going to take forever to wake you up."

I squealed before I threw myself into his arms.

AN: I have no idea why it took me so long to write this. I've been having major writers block lately. I'm sorry if it sucks.
