After figuring out their plan to retake Meltokio, they went to Meltokio but decided to Make camp at the old Cape fortress.
"You can't sleep can you?" Ratatosk wondered
"Not really. I think a late night walk might help me fall asleep." Emil answered
"Emil gets up without waking up May and walks around the cape fortress. While inside the cape fortress, Emil noticed Richter in one of the rooms.
"Can't sleep?" Richter wondered
"Yeah, i still feel uneasy about exodus agents and how we have to kill them." Emil answered depressed
"We don't have a choice, Emil. You know that." Richter reminded him
"What if there is a choice? What if we can convince them to leave Exodus?" Emil wondered.
"It would not work." Someone said
Milla walks towards them.
"Exodus agents are loyal to their cause no matter what." Milla told Emil.
"Damn it!" Emil said frustrated
"Emil, you've killed people before, how is this any different?" Milla asked
"Ratatosk killed those people! Not me!" Emil answered
Richter draws his blade.
"Huh?" Emil wondered
Tenebrae appears.
"What on earth are you doing!?" Tenebrae questioned defensively
"Emil, Draw your blade." Richter ordered
"What?" Emil wondered in awe
"If you can beat me and Milla in a duel, then i know you'll have the guts, strength and Courage to Kill someone. If you fail, you're no better than a dog." Richter ordered
"I don't want to be a dog, nor do i want to kill people!" Emil told Richter.
"This show your resolve!" Richter demanded
Emil get angry and puts his arm in the air
"May, I need you!" Emil ordered
Suddenly May's blade form appeared inside Emil's hand and he engaged both richter and Milla in a duel. Due to Richter and Milla being more skilled than, He barely stood a chance.
"D-damn it..." emil said while struggling to keep their attacks at bay.
"Is this your limit!?" Richter question mad
"No it's not. May, I know this isn't your limit either! Unleash your potential... Please.... MAY!" Emil ordered
Then Emil's sword glowed and changed its shape, becoming a large, broader sword.
