After going their separate ways, and travelling on the road for a few days, they managed to reach Mizuho.
"Looks like they've made some improvements." Lloyd noticed
"Yeah, the village looks a bit more secure than usual." Colette agreed
"Let's look around and find Sheena." Emil suggested
"Right." They agreed
So they began looking around the village but found no sign of Sheena.
"Weird, but common for me not to find Sheena here. She's probably somewhere on a mission or something." Lloyd pointed out
"Maybe." Marta said
"You all looking for chief Fujibayashi?she went to the temple of earth after hearing about a strange woman with blond hair wielding the summon spirit gnome." A villager explained
"A woman wielding gnome? That's odd. Gnome formed a pact with sheena, did gnome break the pack and join that woman?" Lloyd wondered
"We won't learn anything standing here, let's go. Sheena might need our help." Emil suggested
"I'll go on a head to try and help sheena hold out until you arrive." Colette said while letting out her wings.
"Wow! Pretty!" May said in awe at Colette's pixie like wings.
"Alright, and be careful." Lloyd told colette.
Colette flies up and heads to the temple of earth. As for Emil and the others, went to the temple of earth by foot. When they arrived, colette and Sheena were engaged in combat with the woman with blond hair.
"You two are impressive fighters. You don't need spirits to use artes. You just need mana in order to use them." The woman said intrigued
"I call upon the maiden of mist! Come forth, Undine!" Sheena chanted
Undine appears and charges at the woman but stops midway.
"Undine attack!" Sheena ordered
Undine then kneeled down to the woman.
"Huh?" Sheena wondered in awe
"That's new." Lloyd admitted
Emil steps forward goes over to where undine is.
"Emil?" Marta wondered
"I... can't control my.... body...!" Emil said while struggling to move his body.
"Daddy!" May said with concern.
The woman looks towards Emil and the others, noticing may beside Marta.
"I do not wish to fight. I merely want the child." She clarified
"Huh?" Marta wondered confused
When emil got close to undine he bowed down with her.
"Lord maxwell." They said
"Wait what did they say?" Colette wondered
"Maxwell? As in the ancient ruler that wielded all elements?" Lloyd wondered
"That's impossible. There can't be two maxwells." Sheena said in awe
"Ratatosk, i do not wish to fight you. I merely want the child so that i can protect her. Go and bring her back to me." She ordered
"Emil gets up and does what he is told.
"Daddy?" May wondered with concern
"Emil, snap out of it!" Marta demanded
