"The Tale Gator Poem" by Summer Cheng
Once there was a tale gator,
they got so close,
as you can see,
their headlights begin,
to shine in the eyes of mine.
Oh, tale gator,
What were you thinking?
You speed up,
Just to get closer to me,
Yet you still,
Do not get the hint,
that it was not mint,
for you to be this close.
Tale gator,
buzz off,
my back,
it is not a potato sack.
Tale gator,
sooner or later,
you will find,
that you ain't no friend,
of mine.
Tale gator,
you get on my nerves,
it is just you speed up on the curves,
as you continue to swerve.
Tale gator,
as far as the eye,
can see,
there is no reason,
for you to be this close,
to me.
Tale gator,
I have no sign,
on my car,
that says you can go so far,
as to sneak up on me,
Like you and I have some sort,
of history.
Tale gator,
you are so rude,
do you not think,
it kinda crude?
To drive near my bumper,
when I am not a bunny thumper.
Tale gator,
what so hot,
about the spot,
on the back of my car,
that makes you want
to stare at it so much?
Tale gator,
that is nothing,
more crazier than you,
other than maybe gum,
on my shoe!
You may leave now,
or you may leave later,
but for now,
before I have a cow;
I say farewell,
Tale gator!
