                    COMMMMMENTTTTTT WHAT YOU THINK !!!!!

                                              ~* ~ *~

   Recap:

"It is very clear what the gender of your baby is," Doctor Lizzie suddenly tells the both of us, as we set our gazes right on her before we look at the screen, and she points to a certain spot.

And I stare at the monitor of our baby with a huge smile spread across my face.

   Our baby is definitely a. . .

I have no idea. I stare at the monitor at the exact spot she's pointing at on the small screen, but it makes me nothing but entirely confused and at loss for words. Am I supposed to know what it is? I just want to find out as soon as I possibly can if my baby is a boy or a girl. How am I supposed to know what gender is right now, when she's the doctor? Not me!

"Um," Caleb softly mumbles, as I look up at him and realize his eyebrows are raised.

"Right," I quietly mutter, returning my gaze back to Lizzie. "What are you pointing at?"

Caleb and I give her a confused look.

"What do you see right here?" Doctor Liz asks us directing her finger at the monitor, staring back and forth at the both of us as we look at her in pure confusion.

I slightly narrow my eyes to try to find what exactly she's pointing at, but I can't help but shrug afterwards. Caleb stands up to observe the screen closer but when a frown overtakes his face I'm positive he is just as confused as I am. "Nothing," I carefully answer, biting my lip from nerves as she giggles to herself and drops her arm.

"Exactly, so what does that tell you?" She lets out with a soft chuckle hidden in her tone, as Caleb and I both quickly lock eyes before looking back at her once again in total silence. "Your baby is in the perfect position right now." She moves the instrument on my belly to the side a little more, before pointing to the screen once again.

"There's nothing there. It's just blackness," Caleb mumbles, sounding dumbfounded as he half closes his beautiful amazed eyes. "Am I supposed to see something? You're pointing at nothing... How's the baby in the perfect position? Is something wrong?"

"Not at all, nothing's wrong. This spot right here is between your babys legs," she softly explains, finally locking her eyes with mine and a happy grin crosses her lips. "You don't see anything because there's nothing there. If you could see something then you would have been able to see the testicles that have dropped, but there's nothing. So, congratulations mom and dad." She pauses, as my whole world comes halting to a stop as butterflies fill my belly. "You're having a healthy baby girl."

It feels as if my heart drops as I gasp for my breath that's caught in my throat. Staring at my baby in silence and total shock, is when I feel it... no, her, move in my belly. She kicks me again as my eyes immediately collect tears and I soon feel my cheeks starting to get wet. I'm so emotional. . .

"A girl," I gently whisper, as happy as I've ever been before. Everything is finally beginning to make sense in my life and I've never been happier than I am at this moment. "I'm having a girl."

"Yes you are," Doctor Lizzie tells me, and I take a deep breath and sigh. "Would you like me to take a picture for you? Since you're in your second trimester, this is a much more detailed ultrasound picture than the other one we took when you were only ten weeks."
