                                                                         ~* ~ *~

               16 Weeks pregnant

Three weeks end up quickly passing by, and my belly grew like crazy. I am definitely showing right now way more than just a few weeks ago and I'm currently 4 months pregnant. My next shedualed appointment at the ultrasound doctor is in just one more month, and I honestly can't wait. My mother has been pretty quiet, obviously not being able to accept the fact that I have taken adoption into consideration, because I love my baby and want to do the right thing. Not for myself, but for my baby, and my mom just doesn't seem to understand that.

My daddy on the other hand is happy with whatever decision I make and that means the absolute world to me, and he knows it. My brother is having a really hard time and hasn't exactly talked to me a lot since the day he revealed the truth to my parents, but I don't blame him for feeling this way. His best friend got me pregnant and they haven't talked at all.

Caleb and I are doing good, and he just got a job at a gas station down the street from his apartment, so he's been working a lot. He's taken me out on a couple of dates, like to the movies, and out to dinner, but we haven't kissed since the night at the park in the back of his truck. He understood when I told him I want to take things as slow as possible, and I like that about him.

It's finally the day of my appointment with the adoption agency and nobody knows I'm going just yet. I decided to keep it to myself and reveal the truth to Caleb today, whether he would like to come with me or make me go by myself. I pull on a pretty dress so I can look nice and I pull my hair back into a ponytail because it's so hot outside, and Caleb is supposed to meet me out back in the shed so we can talk. Although he has no idea why I need to speak to him, he knows something is definitely up since I'd rather not talk about it in the house.

I walk down the stairs lightly rubbing my stomach for a few seconds as I feel fluttering, when I walk into the room and notice my mother in the kitchen, sitting at the table.

"Hi mom," I nicely let out, as she glances up from a magazine and grins, but barely.

"Hello," she clears her throat, before dropping her eyes back to the page, as she loudly flips it and looks upset.

"Good morning to you too," I softly mutter as I quickly walk out the back door, before trying to catch my breath in aggravation. I just wish she would understand what kind of situation I'm in right now at only the age of seventeen, but she doesn't. When I finally make my way to the shed about to open the door, is when I overhear someone already speaking.

"Come on, man. Please just talk this shit out with me," I hear Caleb's voice as I widen my eyes in a sudden burst of fear, realizing my brother must be in there with him!

"How about you go fuck yourself?" Jeremy sarcastically rushes out as I close my eyes.

"Why are you being this way, dude," Caleb suddenly shouts. "Yeah I got your sister pregnant but I'm doing what I got to do and I'm being a fucking man for once in my life. I got a job and everything. I'm treating her the way she should be treated, and she deserves everything."
