The tree

It's colder than a monkey arse must be but I'm trudging through the snow like an idiot to see my favorite tree

It was a tree my great-grandfather planted and there is even a little, lone firm but crooked bench beside it

I greeted the tree with little pats before I sat down to pour out my heart

No one came here except for me so I never worried about being eavesdropped on

I tried to tame the monster yesterday
After 64 hours of battling it came down to A, B, C, D, or F

After all the bottles of distress and DNA it collected
I better be clear of D and F for a diagnosis

I feel like the thinking part of my brain is scooped out and all I have left is the motions.

Dark waves
Blue waves
I need a change to come my way

I keep asking for impossible things but in the end I really just want to know everything will be okay

And that's when I heard that little voice
Everything will be okay Dad
You met mom

I looked around hoping I went crazy but no
There she was standing behind me smiling

four foot high
long dark brown curls
big hazel eyes
And also my worst nightmare
I don't like kids
