I sit on the couch with Bella holding my Bullseye stuffie. Edward walks into the room holding a Styrofoam cup filled with blood. He sets it on the coffee table before kneeling down in front of Bella.
"I'm sorry I've been so angry," he says.
"I would be too," Bella replies holding his hand.
"I've left you alone in this," Edward frowns.
Bella chuckles softly, "Marriage."
Edward grins, shaking his head.
"Well, they say the first year is the hardest," Edward shrugs.
Bella smiles, pushing a piece of hair behind her ear.
Edward wrinkles his eyebrows in confusion, "What was that?"
"What?" Bella asks, equally as confused.
"I thought I just heard..say something else." Edward stares at Bella's baby bump with an amazed grin.
"Like what?" Bella asks.
"What are you doing Ed?" I ask, also confused.
"Edward, what's going on?" Bella questions.
Edward chuckles an awestruck look on his face.
"He likes the sound of your voice," Edward says, smiling like a fool.
"You can hear him?" Bella asks, a grin forming.
Edward nods, "And mine...he likes the sound of my voice as well."
"Wh-hat do you hear?" Bella asks.
"It's so strange...I thought he was like me but he's like you. He's good, pure, he's happy."
Bella and Edward's smile completely wrapped up into a world of there own. I watch them with a fond smile. It's nice to see people smiling in this house again.
"Of course you are, of course, your happy. How could you not be? I love you so much." Bella lets out a happy sigh as she stares down at her baby bump. "What, what do you hear now?"
"He loves you, Bella," Edward replies.
Edward leans down and kisses Bella's baby bump as Bella runs her fingers through Edwards' hair. They are quite the happy little family. As much as I wanted to say something about the situation I kept quiet. It's been so gloomy around here, they need this happy moment together. I got off the couch, leaving the two alone. Edward took my spot, his face pressed against Bella's baby bump. The two of them began giggling happily. They shut out the outside world altogether. It was just the three of them. I watched them for a moment longer smiling before turning to leave. As I turned I noticed Carlisle walk into the room and Jacob at the foot of the stairs.
