I remember the first glimpse I had of you
You were playing soccer and
Oh God, were you amazing!
I remember the first time you talked to me
Like, actually talked to me
All you said was hi
But that hi has turned into a friendship
I remember the first time I went to youth group
I saw you smiling face glued to the tv screen and I walked over.
All you said was "wanna play?"
I remember when we first hung out outside of school
We sat on your couch and talked
About absolutely nothing
But that was fine
I remember the fist time I realized I had feeling for you
We were on a ride and I glance over at you
And you were the best thing I laid eyes on.
I was too afraid to say anything
I remember the first day of sophomore year
You barely glanced at me in first period
But in Latin we joked around like nothing had changed.
Man, I wanted to tell you then
And I want to tell you now
That not only do I remember those things
But I remember everything in between.
But until my fear goes away
Until we graduate high school
Until we are out of this town
I will just Remember

Dear Someone
PoetryJust some thoughts of a lost girl. Just gonna put this out there but my very first poem is very dark and very scary. I, in no way, shape or form encourage anorexia and self harming. A lot of my poems come from the bad times I've been going through...
