His voice haunts my thoughts
His image, my dreams
In the arms of the one
I wish they were his.
He gave up on a girl
A girl who would have given him the world
For to her, he deserved the universe
He lost the one who loved him
He's haunted by the vision of her crying
Crying for him just like he left her
He wants her back
But sees her with someone else.
He wonders if she's ever haunted
Haunted by what could have been
The love, the happiness
The ring he planned to give to her
That ring
The one that he keeps with him
The ring that, on his way to give to her
Made him see what was true
The life they lived wasn't a happy one
It was one that was haunted
Haunted by their past lovers
The people who gave up on them
They planned on showing them they could make it
But could they?
They gave up in a time of need
A time if need for each of them
And now they miss each other and are
Haunted

Dear Someone
PoetryJust some thoughts of a lost girl. Just gonna put this out there but my very first poem is very dark and very scary. I, in no way, shape or form encourage anorexia and self harming. A lot of my poems come from the bad times I've been going through...
