Chapter XV. Eternally Lost

"You're long gone, but I'm here still stuck in a gray world without you. Not moving forward, not living the past. Just stationary. Just here...waiting for you even though I know you'll never return. We're lost. We're Eternally Lost.

Corvette's POV

I looked up. I feel better now. I should probably go to school.

I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. I look like a mess. My hair was sticking out at all directions.

Pangit!" I smiled a crooked smile. I owe her. I smiled to myself. She's indeed too kind for me.

He wasn't really making anything...he was just there absentmindedly playing.

Helena was so fond of Chaos. She would place Chaos in her lap while she played the piano and the baby Chaos would make a mess in the keyboard that would always make her giggle.

His first word wasn't the conventional "Mom" or "Dad" it was "He-nna" and Helena was always overjoyed when the little Chaos.

I took Helena away from everyone.

I took her from Chaos. If Helena was here with us malamang hindi na kinailangan mag-aral ni Chaos sa abroad. Buo padin sana at masaya ang pamilya namin.

The tragedy that happened years ago tore this family apart. We're holding up outside pero these empty halls of the house was screaming of the pain and loneliness.

My mom was beautiful, she was the perfect example of a wife. Pero ng mawala si Helena, it shook her. She took anti-depressants and was always paranoid. She would freak out at the slightest things. She's keeping a tough facade through the years. Always showing a pleasant face, but I know mom is crumbling day by day inside.

Helena was mom's star...she was mom's bestfriend. Mom loved Helena dearly, as she loved me...pero nagbago ang lahat ng mawala ang kapatid ko. Mom never blamed me...but I know inside she does.

Naglakad ako papunta sa garahe. I guess hindi nanaman umuwi si Dad. Dad on the other hand blamed me.

Our family business almost went down the drain. Helena was Dad's unica hija. She was Dad's little sunshine. After a tiring day, Helena's shrieks of laughter would always energize our father. Harapang sinasabi sa amin noon ni Dad na paborito niya si Helena pero it was fine with me. My father always reminded me that I should protect my sister at all costs because a girl is God's princess from above. Helena was God's gift to my Dad. Patas kaming mahal ni Dad but Helena would always be special. I understood Dad even I adored my sister.
