"I miss you, mi cara... "

Napangiti ako ng marinig si Moris na sabihin iyon. We are having video call via Skype Two days palang kaming hindi magkasama dahil kinailangan nya nang bumalik ng Pinas para sa kanyang pag-aaral at kailangan din siya ng kumpanya nila. It's been almost four years since I decided to pursue my dreams here in one of the Ivy League. Yale School of Medicine ang napili kong pasukan sa tatlo Med school na nagoffer sa akin ng scholarship. According to Dr. Gallante and Hades, this is the best among the three in terms of med. School. Sa unang anim na buwan ko rito ay kasama ko si Moris dahil na rin inaasikaso nito ang pagtatayo ng branch nila rito sa US. It was not hard for us to adjust since lagi rin naman kami rito before. Then, one time, someone sent him email from the university we formerly attended. They told him that his plan was chosen to be presented on one of the prestigious  convention of future engineers. Moris was still enrolled that time in the modular studies and online classes na offer ng university. It was a great opportunity for him... Since iyon talaga ang isa sa mga gustong tapusin ni Moris na kurso noon kaso ayaw nitong biguin ang papa nya kaya he took business related course dahil siya ang susunod na mamahala ng business nila katuwang si Mishy.

Naaalala ko nga na gusto nitong maging Aeronautic Engineer but then walang offer sa university namin kaya ng Industrial Engineering ito aat sinabing he can always study how to fly a metal bird ... Kaya ng abot kamay na nya ang pagkakataon ito ay hindi ko siya pipigilan tulad ng pagsuporta nya sa akin... I told him to go and we will work things out while reaching our dreams... Kaya heto... Pabalik balik siya rito o kaya naman ay ako ang uuwi ng Pinas pag may oras ako...

"I miss you more, mi caro. " Sagot ko rito na ikinangiti nito sa kabila ng frustration sa mata nya.

"Can I stay with you for the lifetime?" Anito sa frustrated na tinig na ikinatawa ko na lamang.

Ganyang kasi siya lagi tuwing kailangan na ng isa na bumalik sa bansang pinagstay nito.

"You know I want that too right? But just a half year more mi caro and we will be together for the rest of our life!" Malambing ko sabi sa kanya
