113: Is he your boyfriend, mommy?

Request: The reader ha a daughter named Carter and is 4 years old, but she is not Sebastian's. Can you write about Seb and the reader going out on a date and when they get home, they spend time with Carter? After they put her to bed, Seb talks about how much he loves Carter.

After your fiance died, you never thought that you would date again. But that all changed when you met Sebastian. 

Carter, your four year old daughter, is the best thing that has ever happened to you. She's named after her father. 

You and Sebastian have gone out a few times, and you've had to tell him about your child. Thankfully, he didn't mind that you already have a kid. 

"Would you like to come in?" you ask him when he drops you off at your house after your date.

"Sure, I'd love to," he replies. 

When you open the door, you hear a squeal. 

"Mommy!" your daughter yells, running to you.

The little girl wraps her arms around your legs. She looks up, and stares at Sebastian for a moment before asking, "Who are you?"

Sebastian chuckles. "I'm Sebastian, but you can call me Seb." 

You smile.

"Is he your boyfriend, mommy?" Carter asks. 

You and Sebastian both laugh.

"No, he's just my friend..." you say. And it's true, Sebastian hasn't asked you to be his girlfriend, so you don't want to assume.

After you pay the babysitter, you join Sebastian and Carter in the living room.

"Okay, it's time for you to go to bed, love," you tell Carter.

She frowns. "I don't want to!" 

You almost roll your eyes, but you stop yourself. 

"Will you go to bed for me?" Sebastian asks, shocking you.

Carter thinks about it for a second and then nods. She holds her arms up for him to pick her up. When he does, your heart flutters. He's so good with her, yet he just met her.

Seb follows you to Carter's room, and sets her on the bed. 

Carter makes Sebastian read her a bedtime story, and she falls asleep halfway through.

"Thank you for doing that... You didn't have to," you tell him.

He shrugs. "I didn't mind... She's cute..." 

"I'm ready for her to ask if you're my boyfriend tomorrow too..." you giggle. "She can be a little crazy sometimes."

Sebastian laughs, "I bet.. I wouldn't mind it though... Being your boyfriend."

You feel your cheeks grow red. 

"So, will you be my girl?" he asks.

You smile before nodding. "Yes, I'd love to be your girlfriend."
