A heart frosted over is better than one that's always pained,
Where the ice can seep into the cracks of the throbbing breaks,
And take away the forever numb feeling,
To give you a wholenessyou can stand on.
But the moment the ice begin to melt,
And someone says theyr're diferent,
"I'm not like the other,"
The voice so sweet that you listen.
You listen and soon the cracks of older breakings start to hurt,
And the numbness returns with that Hollow feeling,
But you ignore it with the band-aid affection given to you.
But pain and reality hit you too quickly,
The reality tha this person isn't right for you,
The pain of you heart being almost melted,
Your protective layer of ice gone and now your denfensless.
Because.
A Heart frosted overis better thaan one that's always pained,
Where the ice can seep into the cracks of the throbbing breaks,
And take away the forever numb feeling,
To give you a wholeness you can stangd on.
