Luke
I go to school and it's the same thing as usual, except I sit on the other side of the room as I usually do. I don't care if I have to sit by Michael, my bully, or the jocks that are constantly picking and teasing at me as long as I could get away from Ashton. I could feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my head the whole class, but I didn't look over once. I couldn't bring myself to do it and I didn't want to see how he looked. Of he looked well rested and peaceful, I would be mad but if he looked sleep deprived and worn out, I'd feel bad. So I spare my feelings, for once.
I pull my hood over my head to stop the spitballs from getting stuck in my hair and practically sprint out of the room when the bell rings. I ignore my name being called behind me and try to just get to the bathroom before my panic attack got any worse. I lock myself in a stall and my knees lock so I collapse on the ground. I can't stop, I'm breathing too heavily and my vision is getting blurry.
"Luke, Luke are you in here?" Ashton asks and I see his hair looking down under each stall until he gets to mine. "Luke open up."
"N-no." I stutter, closing my eyes to try and control my breathing.
"Luke, you have to let me help you." Ashton begs, and I see his fingers wrap around the top of the stall door. Everything goes quiet as I unlock the stall and he rushes in, dropping to my side. "Focus on your breathing Luke." he mumbles and I reclose my eyes so I don't have to look at him. I only start breathing heavier and I feel Ashton freaking out until there's a pressure on my lips.
"Ashton!" I snap, pulling away and grabbing my bag. I wipe my lips off with the back of my hand.
"It helped." he mumbles and I guess it did, since you know, I'm not about to pass out.
"Leave me the fuck alone." I spit and walk to my next class, which Ashton had to be in and had to have assigned seats and I had to sit next to him.
"Nice of you to join us Lucas." my teacher said, looking over his glasses on the tip of his nose.
"Shut up you stupid son of a bitch." I mutter under my breath, but of course he had to hear it.
"Mr. Hemmings!" he snaps causing me to groan and turn to face him again. "Principle's office. Now." I roll my eyes and stomp out if the classroom, heading towards the principle's office with my hood on my head, ignoring Ashton's weird look as I passed.
