Chapter 10

I had no idea where to go, so I just went back into the gig.

"Heyyyyy girl! where were u at, you sexy minx?" Jo smiled.

I ignored her and turned away, I felt tears form in my eyes.

I heard the girls whispers behind me.

"What is up with her?"

"I dont know, I just said hi.'

"Thats so weird, should we talk to her."

"No, I would just leave her for now."

I tried to tune them out and listen only to the music.

"This ones a new song for a very special girl in my life." Cain said.

Every single girl in the room swooned and proceeded to tell everyone around her that he was talking about her.

Charlie entered back into the gig. and started walking towards me.

The tears in my eyes started to come down.

I made eye contact with Cain, and he looked so concerned.

"Charlie dont talk to her right now."

I heard Vaisey say.

"I have to tell her something. Lullah!"

He called out.

"Lullah." he said again.

I started breathing reallly fast and I didnt know why.

And suddenly the ground shifted and I fell on the floor. The last thing I saw before I blacked out was Cain stop singing mid-song, drop his guitar, and run off stage towards me.

Even though I couldn't see anything, I could still hear everything around me.

I heard Flossie scream.

I heard Cain tell everyone to back away.

I heard Charlie tell Cain to back off of his girlfriend.

I heard Cain say some very insulting things back to him.

I heard Vaisey crying and asking if I was dead.

"You should take her to the lady whos house shes staying at, she's a nurse. She fixed my brothers colic."

I felt someone pick me up.

"Woah mate, she's my girlfriend. I should be the one carrying her."

Charlie said.

"Oh piss off." said Seth.

"Seth!" Argued Flossie.

"What? You know he couldn't hurt a flea."

"Guys just move out of my way, I'm taking her to Dibdobs." said Cain.

OMG CAIN!

CAIN WAS CARRYING ME.

I tried to oped my eyes but they wouldn't budge.

I felt him carry me out of the building and into the cool night air.

I knew he was just being nice but his hand was on my ass.

Maybe a short dress was not a good idea for these kind of things.

About a minute before we reached my house, I felt my eyes open and readjust.

"Why 'ello to you too." Cain said with a smile.

"That was so weird." I said.

By now we had reached my house. Cain didnt set me down though.

He opened the door and stepped inside.

It was all dark, blatantly obvious that no one was home.

He took me to my room and laid me down on my bed.

"G'night, little Lullah." He blew me a kiss.

"Cain don't go." I said.

He smiled and closed the door and turned off the light.

I hope he didnt get the wrong idea.

"I'm not gonna have sex with you."

He laughed and laughed.

"No, I di'nt think so." He laid down on the bed next to me.

We talked a bit.

He told me about his family and how his dad was a drunk who basically left the boys to themselves.

He had a little sister, 3 months old, apparently his dad knocked up some prostitute, and so she had the baby and dropped it off with him. He told me he worked at a metal shop on Tuesdays to pay for her food and clothes and daycare.

It was all so sad, I just wanted to cry.

He told me that he liked me, and how I was the most interesting and beautiful person he had ever met.

He told me he wasn't a sappy person, and wasn't gonna cry or write operas about how much he loved me.

He said he just wanted me to know what I meant to him.

I leaned over and kissed him.

He kissed me back, with his whole body.

Our bodies were moving together and they were so in sinc.

He didnt tru to feel up my skirt or anything like you would expect him too.

He just kissed me.

After awhile I got tired and just fell asleep.

I held his hand and we just stayed like that.
