The next day was game day. For all juniors who were trying to play for the city next year, these two games were extremely important. They'll only accept 5 girls and 5 boys and sometimes if a sophomore is so good they'll let them play but it's really rare. Instead of being nervous I was excited to play, and to finally take my mind off of Mina but then I remembered.

Minas going to be doing the commentary for the games anyway and she's also giving out recommendations. I honestly hope she doesn't give me a recommendation, I don't need one to be honest, and since the whole world knows that she's my mother now, they'll probably think she's just choosing me because I'm her daughter.

On game days, I always go to Jennie's house in the morning, so we could exercise but I think we have a lot of catching up to do too.

At 6am, I walked to Jennie's house and she was already on her porch. When I walked to her she said,

"Your mom..... is my hero." She said

"No. Your hero just so happens to be my biological mom." I replied

"Don't play mind games ! Are you not freaking out !?" She asked

"I was" I said with a small laugh .
"Not anymore though, I don't really care." I said

"Well did you guys talk to her?" She asked

"Yeah against our will, but we decided to y'know, keep her around and try to slowly not hate her." I said

Jennie looked at me in complete shock
"So your not gonna hold it against her whole life?" She asked

"Of course I am ! But I'm gonna give her a chance, someone important told me to be open minded." I answered

"Someone important? Eunwoo?" She asked

"Yeah" I chuckled . "How'd you know ?" I asked

"Well he stole my best friend from me" She said jokingly

"Only after Vernon stole you from me." I said smiling

"Okay that's fair, but about you and Eunwoo, are you still in denial about literally being in love with him?" She asked

"Nope, not anymore" I said laying my back against the stairs on her porch

"Thank god !" She cried out and jumped up.
"Well you've got me all excited now," she said as she pulled me up from my laying position,
"Let's practice in the backyard!" She said

At 10am, we made our way to the school gym, where the game will be held. I took jisung too, I wanted him to see how freshmen volleyball practice was since he played for his middle school. When we got there the boys and girls team were there, practicing freely until the coaches arrived.

When Eunwoo saw me he smiled and ran up to me,
"Why are you so late?" He asked

"Why are you so early?" I asked smiling

"Because I thought you would be early." He replied

"You should have offered me a ride, with food privileges." I said

"Did you forget already ? My parents banned me from using their car "until further notice" He said

"Oh yeah" I said . "That sucks, I feel like its my fault" I said

"Trust me it was worth it and I already told you i didn't care about the consequences." He said smiling and then he looked over at jisung .
"Who's this?" He asked

"Oh yeah, this is my little brother, jisung. I wanted to ask your coach if he could practice with you guys today." I said

"Practice with us? On the day of our biggest game? You've got guts, but don't worry the son of Mina Young is always welcome here" he said teasingly

"Shut up and help my brother, ok ?" I said motioning him to follow Eunwoo to the other side of the gym.

I walked across the gym to the girls locker room and it was almost as if the girls on my team were waiting for me. As soon as I got there they bombarded me with questions. It made me wonder if the WHOLE world actually knew that Mina was my mother now. I didn't mind my teammates but I couldn't handle the attention from everyone else.

I sat down and answered all there questions which were basically :
"How did you find out?"
"When did you find out?"
"Did you cry?"
"Do you hate her?"
And much more

"So, do you know how many recommendations your mom is giving out ?" My teammate asked

"No not at all, and trust me you guys I'll make sure there is no favoritism in her picking. You don't have to worry about me telling her to pick me or anyone of my choice. Trust me we aren't that close. You call her my "mom" and I call her "Mina." I said and everyone laughed

"I'm gonna miss having you as a captain so much" Lisa said and all the girls agreed

"I'm gonna miss you all too, but our time isn't over yet. So let's end better than ever before and win!" I said

And we all cheered
