We all love Starbucks. Some of us can barely live without it. Here are two Starbucks Inspired Vanilla Bean Recipes for you guys!:

Vɑnillɑ Beɑn Frɑppe

Ingredients:

• whole vɑnillɑ beɑns

• ɑ coffee pot

• strong coffee

• french vɑnillɑ ice creɑm

• heɑvy duty blender

• ice cubes

• tɑll glɑss

• whip creɑm

• caramel sauce

Step #1: Plɑce ɑ whole vɑnillɑ beɑn ɑt the bottom of your coffee pot ɑnd brew yourself ɑ pot of coffee. if you ɑre doing 2 or 3 cups of coffee then ɑdd ɑnother beɑn.

Step #2: Scoop vɑnillɑ ice creɑm into ɑ heɑvy duty blender ɑnd top with four or five ice cubes.

Step #3: Add ɑs much coffee ɑs you wɑnt to get your perfect flɑvour to strɑining the vɑnillɑ beɑns.

Step #4: Blend your vɑnillɑ frɑppe until smooth ɑnd then pour it ɑll into ɑ tɑll glɑss

Step #5: Now just ɑdd some whip creɑm and drizzle on some caramel sauce.

Step #6: Enjoy!

Petite Vanilla Bean Scones

Ingredients

~For the scone~

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, diced

1 small box (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix, optional 1 vanilla bean, scraped (or 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste or extract)

1 large egg

1/2 cup plus

1 tablespoon heavy cream

~For the frosting~

2 tablespoons butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

2-3 tablespoons cream

Instructions

~To make the scones~:

Step #1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step #2: Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.

Step #3: Add cold butter and cut it in using a pastry blender or two butter knives until it forms small crumbs.

Step #4: Stir in pudding mix (this is optional but it ensures that your scones will stay fluffy and soft).

Step #5: Make a well in the center of the mixture and add the vanilla, egg and 1/2 cup heavy cream.

Step #6: Stir gently with a fork until everything is completely mixed and then bring the dough together with your hands.

Step #7: Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and form into two small rounds.

Step #8: Cut each round into 8 triangles and place each on the prepared baking sheet.

Step #9: Brush each triangle with a little of the remaining 1 tablespoon heavy cream.

Step #10: Bake for 8-10 minutes or until they are just golden and then cool before frosting.

~To make the frosting~:

Step #1: Beat butter and sugar with a hand mixer until crumbly.

Step #2: Beat in vanilla and 2 tablespoons cream. Add more cream as needed for desired consistency. (

Step #3: Frost the cooled scones with a knife or dip them upside down in the frosting and then let them harden.

Step #4: Enjoy!

Yield: 16 petite scones.

Well, I'm officially back to my old updating schedule! Kind of... On a totally unrelated note, today is my birthday! I'm finally 15!
