Cremisi gasped as she slid to the ground with all of the water from her tank. She coughed at the new exposure to air and tried to look around the dark room. She hissed in pain covering her eyes  with her arm as a light was flipped on. "Sir! There's one alive!" Cremisi looked up at a man who was covered in armor with a gun and quickly looked around looking for a way of escape. Three more men ran in with the same uniform with a man in a coat before them. He held his hands out in front of him as to try and calm her. "Please. Calm down. We aren't here to hurt you." She looked at him with fear and shakily pushed herself back towards her broken tank ignoring the glass that was digging into her bare skin. The man kneeled in front of her taking his coat off and throwing it over her shoulders. "Here. I'm sure you're cold." She looked at him curiously and he held a hand out to her. "My name is Reeve. I'm the leader of the World Regenesis Organization, or you can just call it the WRO." She just looked at him taking all the information in. "Sir. We need to keep moving. Enemy are moving in." Reeve held his hand out to her with a small smile. "Will you come with me?" She looked between his hand and him several times before deciding to take his hand. He grabbed her hand gently pulling her to him and lifting her up into his arms. Reeve quickly began running out the door with his soldiers following. They managed to make it on the ship before the whole building blew up. Reeve looked at one of the soldiers commanding them to get Cremisi a shirt and some pants. The soldier left doing as commanded. Reeve sat her down on a bench and kneeled before her. "You don't have to answer, but if it's alright for me to ask. What was that tank you were in for?" Cremisi looked at the floor sadly not answering him. "Do you not want to answer?" She just looked at him and looked back at the floor. "You don't know how to talk do you? Or is it, you can't?" She looked at him sadly and held up her finger showing him one. He frowned at her. "How long were you locked away?" She shook her head as she didn't know. "Okay, how old were you before you were locked away?" She held up six fingers and his frown deepened. "So I'm guessing that you've been locked away for some time now. You must be at least in your early twenties by now." She nodded sadly. He reached for her cheek and she flinched before he even touched her. He retracted his hand feeling a deep sorrow for this girl. "Do you have a name?" She nodded. He looked around in the area and stood up grabbing a little note pad and a pen handing it to her. "Can you write?" She nodded again taking the pen and paper. She wrote a little sloppily 'Cremisi'. He looked at the paper curiously. "That's an interesting name. That's crimson in Italian. Isn't it?" She shrugged her shoulders handing the paper back to him. She jumped as a few soldiers came running. "Sir! Vincent Valentine has been sighted in the area!" She looked at the men confused by the name. She knew it, and yet she didn't. Reeve stood up taking the clothes from one of the soldiers. "Good. Head that way we'll meet him around where he's at." The soldiers saluted at Reeve and ran off. Reeve turned back to Cremisi and knelt down to her handing the clothes to her. "Here. You can get dressed in these so you won't have to run around in just my coat or naked all the time." She nodded gently taking the clothes from him and standing up. She dropped his coat and he instantly turned around as he stood up. She placed the coat on the bench before dressing herself. She tapped his shoulder to let him know she was done. He turned to her and smiled. "Good. They fit you nicely." She nodded smiling softly. It didn't take them too long to get to their destination. They got off the aircraft and into a vehicle to get the rest of the way.

Cremisi sat on a box and swung her legs back and fourth as she stared at the ground. She covered her head flinching as the sounds of guns firing and a bunch of crashing surrounded the area. Reeve gave her a sympathetic look and walked over to her. "Cremisi. It's alright. You're safe." He noticed her shaking and gently grabbed her forearm. She flinched at the contact but didn't fight him. He slid his hand down to where he was holding hers. "Look into my eyes Cremisi." She opened one eye scared and slowly opened the other as she shakily put down her other hand. "It's going to be alright Cremisi. I'm not going to let anyone hurt you." She looked away not believing him and he let her hand fall into her lap with her other one. Reeve looked over as Vincent walked over in their direction. "Vincent. Good you're here." Vincent looked between Reeve and Cremisi curiously. "Reeve. Who is this?" He looked at Cremisi with frown. "This is Cremisi. We found her in Hojo's lab. Well. In a hidden compartment of his lab." Vincent's head snapped to her and she just frowned at the ground. "What hidden compartment? There were no hidden compartments in Hojo's lab." Reeve looked at Cremisi sadly. "It looks like he hid her well then. Now the question is, how long has she been hidden away? We found her outside a shattered tank in a dark room." Vincent frowned. "An isolation chamber?" Reeve's head quickly turned to Cremisi. "Really? I never thought that would be what that tank was for." Cremisi nodded slowly to their conversation. "How did you break out?" She shook her head not looking at Vincent. "She can't speak. She says she doesn't know how. At least when I asked that's what we came to, but I'm not sure if it isn't she can't and just won't admit it." Vincent nodded looking at the girl sitting on a crate. "Look Vincent. We need your help. We've gotten reports that edge is under attack. I know this is going to be a lot of trouble and she's going to be a hassle, but will you take Cremisi with you? She's triggered a lot by loud sounds so you're going to have to keep her with you directly." Vincent sighed and Cremisi's head dropped as she was disappointed in herself. "Alright. I'll take her. I'm sure it won't be too much of a problem." Reeve nodded smiling. "Good. Thank you Vincent. Maybe Cremisi can learn some things in the field. Come with me. I can take you both to edge." Vincent nodded  looking at Cremisi Reeve turned to her with a smile. "Let's go Cremisi." She jumped off the crate and nearly fell over as her muscles were weak. The three climbed into the back of Reeve's van and took off. Cremisi looked around the van as the two men talked to each other. She didn't really understand what they were saying so she didn't really listen to a word they were saying. She stumbled a bit as a bang was heard on the back of the van. Her head whipped to the door and she ran at Reeve as he went to open the door. She threw him to the side making a slash motion with her other hand causing a line of lightning to fly from her hand and demolish the hound that was running at the van. Both men's eyes widened at her ability they didn't know she had. She looked at both men confused and she dropped down covering her head as Vincent aimed his gun at her and began firing. He ran to the door next to her and she held her hand out as a black mist began to cloud over her violet eyes. He looked at her for a second in curiosity before returning to the task at hand. A flame lit in the palm of her hand but it was a black flame. She continuously threw the flames at the hounds as Vincent reloaded his gun. She climbed onto the roof as she heard banging up on it. Reeve gave her a worried look and looked at Vincent. "Vincent go after her!" Vincent ran out of the van jumping onto the roof shooting at the hound Cremisi had been wrestling with. Her head whipped to the up coming bridge and her eyes widened as it wasn't there. The van hit the side of the edge and took off flying. She didn't cry out as she closed her eyes when she flew off the roof. Her eyes widened when she felt an arm wrap around her waist. Everything moved fast as Vincent dropped into the van before it crashed. Vincent put Cremisi down and she slid down onto her her but with her legs beside her. Her hands draped in her lap as she looked in front of her lost. The mist in her eyes vanished and she just sat unmoving. "Cremisi? Are you alright?" Reeve crouched down next to her and waved a hand in her face. Vincent placed a hand on Reeve's shoulder causing Reeve to look at him. Vincent knelt down in front of Cremisi and grabbed her shoulders. She flinched and squeezed her eyes shut bowing her head as  she threw her arms over her head in defense." Vincent frowned. "Hojo has experimented on her. She went into shock. There were too many triggers." Reeve scowled looking at Vincent confused. "What do you mean?" Vincent stood up looking down at her. "It means, she wasn't there the entire time. She was acting on impulse from the moment she ran to save you to the moment we got to the roof. It would be pointless to ask if she remembered what happened, even if she could talk." Reeve's eyes widened a bit and he looked at Cremisi. "Are you alright now Cremisi?" She slowly but shakily put her arms down. She nodded looking at the floor. Reeve looked up at Vincent. "Will you be able to handle her in edge?" Vincent nodded. "We'll be fine." Reeve nodded. "Alright. Well you'll have to continue from here. The engine is shot." Vincent nodded looking down at Cremisi. "Come on. We need to get moving." She looked up at Vincent and nodded.

Cremisi frowned at the rain holding her hand out letting it land on her hand as it poured hard in edge. Vincent pulled Cremisi behind him quickly pulling out his gun aiming at a woman who also aimed a gun at him. Cremisi grabbed his arm looking around him at the woman. She looked at the name tag she was wearing and looked at their guns. Cremisi walked out between the two pushing their guns away from each other. The woman looked at the girl in disbelief. "What do you think you're doing?" Vincent put his gun away trusting Cremisi's judgement. "You're WRO?" The woman looked at Vincent. "Who's asking?" He pulled Cremisi next to him to make sure no harm came to her. "Vincent Valentine. Reece sent us." She looked at the girl. "I am Shalua. So who are you?" Cremisi looked at the ground avoiding Shalua's eyes. "She doesn't speak. This is Cremisi." Shalua nodded turning around and walking away. "I'm going to head back to headquarters. You guys continue on." Vincent nodded and looked down at Cremisi who continued to stare at the wet ground sadly. She looked up as Vincent began walking away. He wasn't walking very fast though as if he was waiting for her. She ran to catch up with him and began walking with him. The two however stopped when a woman with red hair looked at them after standing in the rain looking at the sky. "Ah, if it isn't Vincent Valentine. Who is this?" Vincent pulled Cremisi behind him and she grabbed his cloak. "I see. I am Rosso the crimson. Now hand over the protomateria and I will kill you quickly." Vincent didn't move and Rossi seemed to have gotten annoyed. "I see. Then I shall make sure you suffer." She ran at him and pulled out some kind of weapon. Vincent grabbed Cremisi pulling her with him as he dodged all of Rosso's attacks. Cremisi shoved Vincet out of the way of an on coming swing and was smacked in his place. She was sent flying a bit and rolled on the ground. "What a useless child. Why would you drag that along?" Vincent reached for his gun but Rosso was faster. She knocked Vincent down and he glared up at her. He felt himself loosing control and he began to change. Cremisi came to seeing Chaos. Her eyes widened a bit and she ran at the beast. He wrapped his arms around her protectively and his wings began wrapping in around them as his power began to surge. Her arms tightened around him as they both blacked out.

Vincent came to first and was let out of his preservation tank. He looked around and Shalua looked at him confused. "What are you looking for?" He turned left an right cautiously. "Cremisi." She huffed placing a hand on her hip. "Don't worry she's in the same place you were." His body whipped around to the tanks and his gaze hardened as she began coming to. "Get her out of there. Quickly." Shalua looked at him confused. "Alright. I don't see what the rush is for but okay." Cremisi looked around for a minute until realization dawned on her. Vincent ran up to the tank placing a hand on it. She began banging harshly on the tank in desperation. Shalua saw the panic and sped up the draining processes as much as she could. As soon as the liquid was gone and the tank was open Cremisi jumped into Vincent's arms shaking. He rubbed her back carrying her away from the tank and to a chair. "What was that all about? Afraid of water?" Vincent gently placed Cremisi down in the sort chair and turned to Shalua. "No. Isolation tank." Her eyes widened a bit. "What? When did this happen? Where are the files?" She ran to her computer typing away like crazy. Her hands dropped into her lap as she saw the little information she could gather. "She was in an isolation tank, but it wasn't just to hide her. It was to contain her. Evidently whatever Hojo was doing to experiment on her with was out of control. This doesn't have much other than that chamber and it's little reasoning that's written. I guess Hojo really didn't want anyone to find her. I wonder why that is?" Vincent looked down at Cremisi. "Do you know?" She looked at the floor frowning. "I suppose she does. Too bad she can't speak." Vincent nodded in agreement. "Good you two made it out alive. I was a little worried about you two." Cremisi's head snapped in Reeve's direction and she raced to her feet running to him. Reeve held his arms open to her and she dived into them smiling brightly. He pat her head wrapping his arms around her. "Come on Cremisi. I need to speak with Vincent and Shalua." She nodded letting him go and following him. She may not have been able to speak, but she knew that she could put all her faith and trust in him. He saved her and she knew she owed him for it.

A/N: So, I've been thinking for a long time now about writing this. I'm mostly writing this for the fact that there aren't very many Vincent stories out there. I love Vincent but he needs to be given more attention. Anyway, I don't know how often I will be updating other stories or this one. It is all spontaneous. Then again, I am a spontaneous author. So anyhow. Take care my lovelies.
