Jade, Dylan, and Hailey climbed slowly down the ladder under the trapdoor into the nothingness. It was completely dark except for Jade's flare which was still burning.

"Are you sure that this thing is safe?" Hailey asked timidly.

"Well, I'm just guessing, but yea." Jade said.

"Then I hope we don't all plunge into the darkness." Dylan said sarcastically.

"Not helping!" Jade and Hailey yelled annoyed.

"So are we almost at the bottom?" Dylan said. They were still climbing step by step down the rickety ladder.

Suddenly, Jade's foot touched ground, "Yeah, I think so my foot just touched something hard. I think its the floor."

"Did anyone bring their phone?" Hailey asked.

"No, not me why?"Jade replied.

"Well we could use the screen as a flashlight." Hailey said.

"I did." Dylan said as he turned it on. "I thought I left it at home but it turns out it is in my pocket."

"Great, the light is really bright! Lets keep going down this hall." Jade said.

Dylan shone his phone light all around the hallway. Suddenly, the light caught on something. Something green and glassy. Dylan gasped. Jade saw it too.

"Wait shine your light back on it." Jade said as she walked over to the object. "No way! Its another book!"

"Really?" Hailey asked.

"Yeah! Its just like the other one except its green." Jade said.

"Cool how do we get it out of the case?" Hailey asked.

"Um, we can try to throw rocks at it." Dylan suggested.

"No! Don't do that!" Someone yelled from behind them.

"Ahh!" They all screamed.

"Lorek what are you doing here?" Hailey asked.

"Lorek? Who's Lorek?" Dylan asked.

"Me, and I am here to help Jade." Lorek replied.

"She doesn't need any help she has me!" Dylan replied sounding more protective then he had hoped.

"Anyway." Lorek said rolling his eyes. "I can open the glass for you."

He mumbled a few words and cast his finger at the glass and it disappeared.

"Woah!" Jade exclaimed.

"How did you do that?" Hailey asked.

"Its magic. Jade can do it too." Lorek replied.

"Really?!" Jade cried. "Show me!"

"You just have to make up a spell that rhymes and then cast your hand or finger or some stick at an object." Lorek said. "Its quite easy, really."

"Ok, um can I make my phone appear I left it at home." Jade asked.

"Sure." Lorek replied.

"Okay, um. I left my phone at home so make it appear here." Jade said. She casted her finger at the floor but nothing happened. "It didn't work."

"It's okay, your spell um didn't exactly rhyme." Lorek replied.

"Oh, ok. Then how about: My phone is not near so transport it here!" Jade said and she pointed her finger at the ground. The phone appeared and Jade took it. "Okay, this is crazy awesome."
