{ NADIA ROSE. }
Puddycat
She was at Glastonbury and honestly I loved this song. It's playful and it really is symbolic to grime but it's for people who just want that chill and relaxed music. She's culture honestly!
Big Woman
This one. I couldn't relate to it but it's for "big women" it's talking about the experiences of a woman and what she does. For this instance, she's talking about sexual activity and getting food - it's a weird parallel but it works. Also she uses Caribbean slang and cultural music such as reggae, soca and bashment which is a key element in young people's music. Honestly one of my favs!
Wat Up
She's so cute, but at the same time she's changing the stereotype of a black woman wearing space buns. It's not seen as childish and it's her signature look. Her flow is deadly honest.
Boom
She incorporates the traditional or early grime (2010) into her music, which shows how deep jungle, electric and grime has played a part into her music. She's got a sick flow, she's playful and I love the video.
